Soul eater is a anime of where humans who can either turn into weapons or can wield those weapons (who are bound to each other as partners) fight basically corrupted souls, and try to get 99 souls and then take on a witch to get 100 souls in total. I forget what would happen next but yeah. Also the weapon partner eats the souls
