This is a personal piece by an artist called Smooshkin, who, as I understand, does not like their artwork utilised on other websites without written consent, (or possibly at all.)

This is a CLOSED species called Frigate Chasers, meaning they are a PAID species.
This is quite a cheap move, and is disrespectful.

Yes, you do claim the lines are not yours, but in reality, the drawing is not yours- therefore, you are not permitted to use it.

the image has been removed from the post. i saw the image on google and thought it would make a good species; however i was completely unaware that the Sharkies where started on DA, as i do not have a DA and therefor i have have no clue what is or isn't already a species.

if this is true, i'll revert my "sharkies" to normal shark dogs if the species has been compromised.
if it's just the artwork then i dont think there's a need to close the species

If we turn the flippers on head to ears and add or remove fins from the paws then sharkies can probably all be reverted into general shark dog oc's. Or the designs could be converted into some other species, (like a normal dog with mist the colour of their old fins)

I'd have to change a lot of them ;u;
I guess the species is closed then since when I looked at the img and the ref its a direct similarity if not copy of the work, and so I guess I've been adopting false species. And I paid good stuff for them all ;u; which now makes Me upset. And I'm sure I can't get refunded all the c$ I spent on them from bean, and all the other things j spent ages to get to buy them...

I would assume it's doable, the change I mean. But it would take me forever. But I think I can make a png version so people can download and color and a cs version

I'm up for helping recolor them outside of Oekaki, I'm pretty good at recreating designs I would just need to know what the edits would be instead?...


And there is still a large difference between frigate chasers and sharkies, especially the body type... The only thing I can put together and match up is their noses and fin locations... Even their legs are different?

To be honest I was planning to make refs for all my characters soon, I guess its good I didnt start, the majority of my designs will be converted into different species.

Rae I know how many shark dogs you have so if you need help changing the species im open to help, actually anyone changing their shark dogs into something else can ask me if you need help or ideas.

I can make lines to work with ^u^ I just need a
visual representation of what your going to want them to look like~
A sketch, an example, anything that's an image will work fine ^u^
