Name of Pup:
Amissa
Gender of Pup:
Female
Personality:
Always the better person, Amissa resolves any fight she happens to stumble across. She's always lonely, even when surrounded by her friends and family. Quite the adventurer, Amissa somehow always ends up the damsel in distress Torrentem saves... Not that she minds. She has a huge crush on this dog, but he sees her as his best friend. Actually, let's ask him about her.
[i]'Amissa? She's the best friend anyone could have. So easygoing. But thing is, she only does what she knows she can get away with. She's the bounciest dog you'll ever know, and is always right on time for everything. My parents love her. She can talk about anything, even when she doesn't know what it is. She's so smart... What? NO! I do NOT have a crush on her! She's my best friend! It would be... WIERD if we started dating.'
Story:
The first thing Amissa heard was the sound of her mother's sobs. She bounded up onto her, confused, then looked down to see a white cloth being placed over some cuddly toys - Her siblings. Nevertheless, Artemis knew that even though only one survived, she would be all the more special. It was not hard to see how - The child bore the marks of a prophetess.
They sent her away as soon as she could speak, and only saw her half the hear. In summer and fall. Even though she was isolated from her parents, she found many friends at the Temple, and surrounded herself with them.
On the year of her (Dog years) fifteenth birthday, she was the most popular and sought after girl there. All the temple boys attempted to flirt with her, but she giggled at their jokes, and let them down the best she could.
'He's there for me,' She said, 'Always. Even though he doesn' t know it.'
By this, she was talking about her best friend, Torrentum. He was much like her father, except he always knew exactly what was going on. He had a cruel, sharp sense of humor, and a violent personality. But Amissa had known him all her life, and trusted him beyond belief. Even when they got into trouble, Amissa talked him out of it. On the day of her fifteenth, they arranged to sneak out that night to the back of the Temple. Torrentum gave her a diamond circlet, interwoven with silver and sapphires.
'For my little princess.'
Amissa was not allowed to wear such things inside the Temple, for the Priestess would snatch it away and keep it as her own, or use it as an Offering. When she finally graduated, at sixteen, she came home to find a surprise waiting for her.
Her brother and sisters. She was ever so pleased. She could either be a full time Prophetess, and feed her family in the Temple lodgings, the best houses available to anyone, or stay, and give her mother the help she desperately needed with the litter, and her father.
Facing this most life-changing descicion, which will she choose? And what secrets will she learn about Torrentum? And where did Fluffy the rabbit go? <- Answer=Ammritoni's stomach.
Art of Pup: (Optional)
Would if I could, but I can't draw to save my life.
Poem for the Pup:
Surrounded by friends,
Yet strangely lonely.
Loved by many,
Yet has eyes for only one.
Hated by some,
Yet always serene.
Pleasant to all,
Yet oddly weak.
Family/Friends: (Optional)
Mother: A wonderful dog named Artemis, who was sweet and cute, and very loving. She stood up for what she believed in, and always put others before herself.
Father: A kind dog, Xercules sometimes got a bit confused, which led to fits of anger and violence. However, Artemis and Amissa always made sure to calm him down whenever this happened. He was a good father, though scared of himself.
Siblings: Amissa was the only survivor of her mother's first litter, but she recently had a second. She is the ultimate babysitter to the develish Ammritoni, the lovely Cercuae, and the quiet Kersumae, who resembles her elder sister very much.
Torrentem: The best friend in the world to Amissa. Been there always, legally or not, and will always be there. She has the biggest crush ever on him, but he is obviously oblivious. Very cheeky, sometimes mean, but always typically dog-like and funny. Does not want Amissa to be a Prophtess, as that would mean they could not see each other ever again. She just tells him to make use of what time he has left with her.
Limastia: Another of Amissa's friends. She is going to be a full-time Prophetess, and would kill to see Amissa join her. Sometimes overly ambitious, but very loyal and most of the time just and friendly.
Hrutire: Killed Amissa's reputation, shattering her away from most of her friends. She saw Amissa and Torrentem at the Temple that night, and told everyone she had broken the rules, by kissing a boy inside the holy grounds. Few would believe Amissa, and even fewer would stand up to this brute of a girl. Hrutire was a rich girl who'd bought her way in, and could never be anyone of worth.
Pets: They used to keep a rabbit. But it ran away. Or was caught by Ammritoni.
Pup's Themesong: Well, the story of her and her crush is Invisible and Mary's Song (Oh my my my) By Taylor Swift.
On her own, she is very much like Both of Us by B.o.B featuring Taylor Swift
Other:
Has to care for her siblings often, when she's at home, as her mother cares for her father.
