story OR background info
Walking down a back road headed for the town, two huge man people drove by. They left me alone in the way there, but as I was walking back, they started harassing me. Laughing, pointing, poking. I growled my feirces growl, but they laughed even more and started kicking me. I tried to run, but one of them grabbed me with their giant paw and threw me back down. I started to whimper. They beat me harder. I felt my leg break, ribs snap, something shader. I was in south pain, the very world was numb to me. I felt nothing after one point, I thought I was dead. I woke up on the side of the road, the men still there, I tried to move away, but I hurt too much and let out a loud yelp. It startled the men awake and they began to beat me more. I lay in the dust and dirt, half dead. This little girl came by with a butterfly net and butterfly cage. She just do happen to look over at me. I'm sure at first she wondered what I was, then I heard a loud scream and she dropped everything. I watched her take off toward somewhere. Hours later, she returned with her mother, father, and two brothers. They all gasped. The mother held the children close, the father walked over and rubbed his giant paw across me, I shrank back, scared that he was going to beat me like the other men. He said something to me and gentaly picked me up, I didn't feel the pain, I was too numb. They took me home and called someone. About an hour later, a man in a black suit came in and looked at me. He took something out of his bag and I fell asleep. When I woke up, I hurt all over, but I was warm. Months later, after I was better, the people jumpped for joy, I didn't know it then, but the men who had beat me senseless had been thrown in jail for animal crewlty. All animals they had abused finally had justic. And as for me, I had a loving home where they treated me right for the rest of my life.
