Which pup do you want?: Cotton Candy Pup (#5)
What would you name it?: Velvet of Broken Ribbon (or Vel/Velvet for short)
What would its gender be?: Female
Why do you want it?: I would like Vel because I love her design. The colours match almost perfectly and create what I think is a peaceful scene, but with hidden malice in the eyes. A perfect combination, as I would think. I also think she would be a perfect subject to draw in my spare time, as the the designs are only somewhat complex, and I myself am not an acomplised artist. I also thought of adding her to my story, as she seems to have a unique aura and character, judging meerly on her looks.
History/background/other: Winged figures flew in the air above the lair. Never swooping down, always aiming higher and higher. This was the way things worked, ever since the beginning of time. The she-wolf glanced around, hoping no one was watching. She had always wanted to fly, but she was just a normal wolf, and a loner at that. Velvet sighed. She had belonged to a pack long ago, when she was a pup, the pup of the Alpha. However, a rival pack had sent their pack into despair. Disbanding came quickly afterwards, and the hunting down of the Alphas. How Vel survived, is a mystery.
Velvet of Broken Ribbon was the elder pup in a litter of two. Her younger brother, Shine of Golden Heart was killed in a raid. She has lived a traumatized life since birth, even though it should have been a glamourous life of the gifted. The only reason she survived the attack was because a winged wolf heroine, by the name of Silken Seven, sweeped her out of the battle, thus saving her. Ever since, she has had a fascination of the noble winged ones. Her dream is to become a winged wolf by finding the plant that will grow her wings, a plant found only in the kingdom of Serene Six, the violent she-wolf who ordered the Darkpack to attack Velvet's family.
What do you plan on doing with it?: I will most likely start a thread on the forums for her, and any other characters I achieve in the meantime. Believe me, Vel is very important to me, I don't know why but she reminds me of some distant feeling I just can't name. Once I find someone to colour her for me, she will house a residence in my signature.
