Why I want Hikaru:
I wish to own Hikaru because his radiant glow just stands out before me, drawing me in with his beauty and inner glow. I would also like him because i have always loved galaxy or space themed characters, and i feel that Hikaru is the one for me. He is absolutely perfect, from his luminescent head to his never ending tail of stars.

What I will do with Hikaru:
I will cherish Hikaru forever, as well as doing plenty art of him and making various art of him in different forms, like plushies, or sculptures. I will be sure to display him in my signature, which is currently a work in progress, and he will be a proud guard of my signature map as well as my character thread.

I chose the name Hikaru for him, because i believed that he was such a powerful and radiant design that it deserved a strong and worthy name. I chose the language from Japan, because, not only do I love Japanese names, but the Japanese are a very neat and tidy people, which is like a place Hikaru would come from, or where he would spend his time.

Nickname:
Hik, like Hic in Hiccup. It often annoys him to be called by such a silly name, but he deals with it anyways. He typically allows only his close friends to call him by that, but as long as they don't tease him about it, he keeps his cool.

Male

Hik's Personality:
Hik is a quiet guy, but that does not mean he is shy or timid. Due to his experience, he has come to realize when and what to say and where to say it in a conversation, so it flows nicely and keeps an even pace. Hik is generally very accepting when it comes to meeting new people and the different ideas that each of them bring.

Hikaru sighed as he remembered his father's last words.
Your duty is to the people, Hikaru
He was sure that his father meant to reassure or even praise Hik, with his strange ways, but it brought nothing but treachery to him. Why must he be the Star God? He was just an oridinary wolf, with a stub for a tail. He hated that stub, it reminded him of his tragic accident years ago, when he was just a little pup.....

The smog of the city's factories covered the sun as a small purple and orange pup curled up against his mother's thick belly fur. He smiled to himself as he smelt the sweet smell of vanilla in her fur, and longed to open his eyes for the first time. But he knew it was not time. He sighed and fell asleep.

When he awoke, he instantly opened his eyes as the warm, soft body was no longer warm. It was cold...and....wet?
He turned, with his eyes wide as he saw what appeared to be his mother, laying on the cold cement floor, under the bridge the pair slept under. Her eyes were rolled back, and her fur was matted with a thick red liquid. She was dead.

A numbness hit him hard in the chest, what was this feeling? He felt like he had lost everything, which he did, but.....
Sadness.
The word called to him from inside his head, and he knew the word fit perfectly.
"Sadness," he muttered to himself, as if tasting the word on his pink tongue. But he knew, without his mother, he was alone in the world that had turned to factories and the toxic smog that covered the sky. He despised the smog, as it covered and tainted his senses. The purple pup knew what he had to do, he had to leave this treacherous city and regain his senses, if possible.

But the pup had no experience of the world, and only knew what his mother had told him, which was enough for him.
He quickly ran, taking in all that he could. His mother once said that he had great tactical skills, as he had always knew a way to draw his once alive siblings away from his mother's sweet milk.

Something Interesting about design (whatever you want):
The color choice is not something i would pick out myself, and it is not common, as it is quite difficult to mix to secondary colors together without making the colors clash and ruin the character, and this character, with the mix of the colors, blends well with the galaxy theme, yet being able to stand out separately.

Why you want the design:
I know it's the age old excuse, but I truly did fall in love with her. I was going to make a new breeding with my own two characters Aera and her mate, but I noticed this art when it was still a work in progress and she was the first one I saw. She's just so gorgeous that I knew I had to try for her.

Lately I've been obsessed with elemental designs, and she looks like she'd be another earth elemental. I have one elemental, Syreal, and she would be perfect as his mate.

Why you want the design (Brownie Points):
I love his design! And I would like to be able to make him the mate to my fursona, Rêverie And, I LOVE his tribal markings, but it's his feathers that really caught me. ((Me lurves feathers! XD))

Aetas is a very warm and affectionate male, showing his love at almost all times for those he care for. But even this lover is a fighter, fighting to protect his, and his own, willing to risk life and limb. Seemingly distant at first, he analyzes everything, very logical and reasonable about most things. Only rarely does Aetas every do things spontanously or by spur of the moment.

Design Story:
It all began on a lonely winters day, quiet and so cold nothing dared break the silence, except for one...

She cried out, a sharp whine punctuated the silence that enveloped the two wolves, her labor intense and terrifiying to the female. Her first litter, and it looked like it would be her last, the pup was stuck and no matter how she begged and cried the pup refused to move. Sides heaving and tongue lolling she lay on her side, cradled gently by her mate, his fear for her scenting the air a sharp lemony scent. Her brown eyes locked on his crystal blue, begging for answers and time he didn't have. Agony filled their hearts as the female started to accept her fate, the contractions strong but still too weak to bring the pup into the cold world.

As she began to fade, slipping deeper into the oblivion that beckoned a searing burst occurred, a contraction finally bringing the pup forward. Livened by this she turned, nosing the beautiful pup, a large female. But it was too late for the babe, too long without oxygen, already gone from this earthly realm. Both parents sent up mournful howls, and the female cuddled her still pup, not noticing the contractions that moved her again.

It was the male that noticed the arrival of the second and last pup, a fair-sized male pup, the color of his mother. The male quickly nuzzled the wet pup, bringing air into his child's lungs. When at last the pup let out a soft, sharp yip did the female turn her attention from her stillborn.

The living pup thrived, but was cursed by his very name. Time Unspoken, in rememberance of his littermate who never breathed the harsh cold air. His sister's death hung on his shoulders with every time his name was called by his mother, but his father reveled in the fact his was born alive and strong. Growing up in such a manner made the male pup the wolf his is today, strong and gentle, but distant.

Aetas, the one who will give his life for those he loves, but will never be loved by the one who brought him into this world. He forever yearns to earn her love, but is grateful for his father's undying affection.
