I suppose I really need to learn to explain things better then, sorry for the confusion.
The ones without numbers were never up for adoption to begin with, which is why I mentioned that in the original post. Then the ones with numbers were up for adoption, and I ment that in a way that people could only get a pup that had a number and that they couldn't get the pups that had no number from the start.
I guess I thought it would be obvious the numbered ones were taken when I quoted the people who posted first and said that the pup was theirs - then put their usernames next to the pup's number in the first post. Now that the adoptions are over, I left the numbers of the ones that had been up for adoption up so that everyone could tell at a glance which pup went to each person in the first post.
Again, I'm sorry about the confusion, and I guess I could have explained things better in the first post, but when one pictures something clearly in their mind they can overlook parts that others may not get. I'm really sorry for the misunderstanding and I'll try to make things extremely clear if I do another adopts sheet.
