Why are you Adopting? I always liked the design, armor and all. Plus,I told myself the next time I saw the pups up for adoption, I'd try for one. She just kinda struck me as one that'd fit my personality. Plus, I kinda have a weakness for blind or half-blind characters. I have many of them.
Submit Art: Fail and rushed:

I'll try to do armor later...no promises
Submit Short Story:
Rosalva blinked and turned her head around the cave, the sounds of night filling her young ears. It was dark, but she could still see the faint glimmer of light coming from outside. She loped forward, her short puppy legs stretched out as long as she could get them. Bounding forward, she took a leap towards the soft grass she knew awaited her paws. A mouth closed around her scruff with a soft laugh, "Rosalva, stay inside. It's dangerous out there." Rosalva huffed as she was placed near the other orphaned puppies. Some of them playfully jeered at her, "Hey Rosie, you trying to escape again?" Rosalva growled and trudged off to the back of the cave. They didn't understand. She wanted to feel the wind through her fur, the grass beneath her feet. They babied her because she couldn't see as well as the others. What was the difference? She got around well, if not better than the other pups. She didn't stumble over her own feet and she always knew where things were, even if they were on her bad side. She flopped down with a huff and glared at the others. She'd show them she wasn't weak. With a angry sigh she closed her eyes and drifted to sleep.
Ros! Rosa dear, come here!" Her mother called in a sweet voice. Rosalva bounded toward her clumsily, she'd only learned to walk a few weeks ago. "Yes mama!" Her father came out of the cave, laughing. "Rosa, where are your siblings?" Several voices piped up almost instantly, "We're over here papa!" Rosalva barely had anytime before she was broadsided by three other hyper, clumsy pups. "Hey! Get off!" she laughed. A rustle from the bushes made both her parents freeze, heads whipping about with fear in their eyes. "Run!" Her father sounded strange, and Rosalva had but just a instant before Her mother snatched her and her siblings and took off. A terrifying roar made Rosalva's fur stand on end, just before something else sent her flying from her mother's mouth with a yelp. She rolled in the grass, her right side hitting a rock. With a pained yelp, she struggled to look around, her vision blurring heavily. Within moments, her world went black. Rosalva woke with a start, leaping to her feet. It was 'morning', and she rushed to try to get outside before they caught her, again. Soraya was standing at the entrance with a stern, knowing look. "Rooossaaa..." She had that tone that Rosalva knew all too well. Her tail dropped and she ducked her head. "Yes Soraya?" she responded dejectedly, "Rosa, you will be a Warrior of Isket but you have to stop this. We can't train you become better if you sneak out and get yourself caught by a Kronador." Soraya's voice was stern but kind, "Yes Soraya." Soraya laughed softly, "Now then, about training. You should be old enough by now." Soraya turned, and looked out over the grass waving in the breeze. "Come, Rosalva. It's time you learned." Soraya walked away, followed by the bounding Rosalva. The wind fluttered through her fur and the grass tickled her pads. She giggled and trotted behind Soraya, almost stopping in awe at the newest Warriors recieving their armor, "Wow! Would I ever get armor like that?!" Soraya nodded, "All Warriors of Isket have their own unique armor. When you graduate, you will gain yours too." Rosalva stared until she realized Soraya had left. "Hey, wait for me!"
~~Six months later~~Rosalva snarled at her mock opponent, circling around him. Her hackles raised as she lunged forward, attacking in the ways she'd been trained since she was barely six months old. She was a year now, her mind and body steeled against her past. Her teeth connected with his shoulder, a forceful nip to prevent injury. He shooke her off and they squared off again, sparring under the watchful eyes of the alfas. The point was to pin your opponent, but sometimes the boys got too aggressive. He was one of them. He launched himself at her right side, a piont of what he though was weakness. She danced away, lighter on her feet than the bulky male. He yelped in surprise as he hit the ground rather roughly, looking up to find her standing over him. He launched upward, his head hitting her jaw, knocking her back. They lunged again and again, neither finding much gain. On the last lunge, they clash on their back legs front paws swiping at each other. "All right you two, that's enough." They lept away, panting and glaring at each other. "Very good you two..."
~~Graduation~~Rosalva sat proudly, much as she'd seen previous graduates do. She had watched every ceremony, envying each and every one that received their armor, knowing she wasn't ready yet. This time though, it was her. She was the one getting her armor along with the other graduates. She almost couldn't contain her excitement. As the others were called she watched in anticipation. The suspense was killing her, but she tried to not show it. As her name was called, she stood, holding her head high and concealing the party that was unleashing in her heart. "Rosalva, despite your weaknesses you have proven yourself to be more than capable at fighting as well as worthy to wear this armor." She looked at everyone staning proudly in their gleaming armor and held her head higher. Other wolves placed her armor on her and she felt like she could fly away. The ceremony ended in the traditional way, and when she had escaped from the others she let out all her excitement, howling and bouncing around like a playful pup.
