W.O.I I have read the rules and have chosen to follow them, in attempt to receive this W.O.I.I'd like to adopt....
Name: Crescent ☾
Pronunciation: {Kr-es-ent} Symbol:
Gender: Female

Why are you Adopting?: Because I tried before, and I got a pretty good place for it. I simply love how the story fits, and how well these where made up. I fell for this one and couldn't bare to miss it. It's markings are so well planned out, I just had to take a shot at adopting this one. I really tried for the other one, but I'm going to make as much as I can with this one. I can't forgive myself if I loose. I think it is such a wonderful Warrior pup! I love how TWG90 made the best story ever, and of course found a great idea for the land they are on, blue grass, white water, just simply amazing in my eyes. I think she would have a rightful place in my signature-and my character thread. I'm just so curious about these, I thought maybe owning one would help me better understand how these work. Just working on her markings make me think she's the best character I'd have because the balance with color and markings on her. I almost fell from my seat when I saw her, the pup simply strikes my attention most. I'd keep her forever and never let her go, even for an OMG so rare pet, she is worth to me a million of those, maybe more. I'd write a story for her until my hands bleed, which I was thinking of doing when I adopted her. She fits me the best out of all them, even though they were all great, I had to match myself with the perfect W.O.I, This isn't just pick the coolest or the prettiest wolf, its about which pup is the right one for you. I personally think Crescent is the perfect Warrior for me, she is a wonderful pup, really. I really care for this one, I'd sorta, don't get me wrong, but I think I'd be torn without getting her. I got way too excited with the last one, I as really sad, But I'm glad that I waited for the right Warrior, not just picking the coolest one. I worked till 6:36 till 12:00 A.M on this form, also my story making and everything else, so I worked 9 or more hours on this I'd say. I love it, I really do, please consider giving me her. <3 Thanks again for reading my ridiculously long form :3

Submit Short Story: Crescent stood at the edge of the cliff, feeling the warmth of the evening sun shine onto her face. The wind blew all around her, whispering in her ear. She could hear little song birds sing their last song for the night's moon. The Oak tree leaves fluttered around her, blowing away with the winds sharp grab. She stood up and saw the moon peering at her, sneaking its way into the sky. She turned to see her mother waiting down at the end of the cliff's hill. Her mother nodded her head for her to come. Crescent looked back once more, and then simply walked over to her mother’s side. Her mother smiled her warm smile and nudged Crescent into the den. Her mother shivered from the wind and called the other pups into the den. Crescent sat at the dens edge, seeing rain drop down onto the ground. It made all the pups run inside, for they were afraid, but Crescent wasn't. She simply watched them get heavier, then more rain came. Until the wind had made it hard to see outside, she crawled into the back of the den, feeling her mother’s warm fur; she got comfortable and fell into sleep. Crescent was standing outside, the wind almost knocking her over. She ran from hail and lightning. She then was cornered and could run no further. Rain made her blind to see anything, and then Lightning struck her body, making her yelp. Blackness surrounded her body until.... Crescent woke up breathing heavily. She looked around as her lungs were gasping for air. She calmed herself as she watched her family sleeping, all cuddled up but herself. Crescent then crawled over to her mother and dug her face into her fur, tired.
Crescent stretched out her paws and lifted her tired head. Screams from her wild siblings rang outside the den. She got up and saw mother wasn't in here either. She trudged herself out of the den, her siblings were fighting, not for her amusement. She watched outside, everything was broken and piled up. Leaves were blown everywhere, and not even one bird’s nest was still in the safety of the trees. Her brother ran up behind her yelling out, and jumping at her. Crescent put her ears back and dodged out of the way. She growled and stood up "Stop it!" she growled. He lifted his tail, wagging it a mile a minute. Crescent rolled her eyes and watched her sister come and pull her brother back into the fighting area. She chuckled at them and shook her head; the place was now a playground for them. She then looked around for her mother. She stopped laughing "Where's mom?" she asked. Her sister stopped fighting "Down at the stream" she replied, getting hammered again by her brother. Crescent snorted at them and turned toward the stream. She sprinted down the hill, kicking up dirt after her. She then jumped over a fallen tree and turned into some thick brush of vines. She dug her way out, until the sun blocked her eyes from seeing the stream. She kept walking until the sun wasn't in her view anymore. She saw her mother standing by the stream slapping the water. Crescent took a step closer "Mom?" she asked. Her mother turned around with a fish "What?" she asked. Crescent smiled "I didn't know where you were" she replied. Her mother nodded at her and got up "Take a fish will ya?" she asked. Crescent nodded and knelt her head to the ground sniffing the fish. She then dug her teeth into it and took alongside her mom. They walked back hearing the wild screams get closer. Crescent then took the lead she looked back at her mom "I'm checking on my brothers and sisters" she said taking her walk into a run. She reached the hill to see one of her brothers hanging on to the edge of the cliff. Crescent's eyes widened and shot over to him dropping the fish. Her instinct made her teeth bring themselves out and snatch the pup into her jaws. She carefully crawled backwards until both were out of the way of falling. She set him down and all was quiet, the only thing breaking the silence was her mother’s steady walk crunching the fallen leaves.
Her mother had reached the hill and then smiled "Wow Crescent, you sure can calm pups down" she said in amazement. Crescent growled "These here 'pups' had just played a death game" she growled. Her brother watched the ground "I was falling from a cliff" he said "Crescent caught me" he added. Her mother sat there watching them all "Thank you Crescent, may I ask how this happened?". Her brother spoke up "Well he pushed me too far and I fell!" he screamed. Her other brother put his ears back "I did not!" he shot back "You did it yourself!". Her brother rolled his eyes "You think I'm that dumb to almost kill myself?" he retorted. The other one shrugged "I guess you were...". "BOYS!" her mother yelled "That is about enough, out of both of you!" she growled. Her brother growled and shook his head walking away, back into the den. Her mother sighed "I'm going hunting, all of you go into the den, I'll be back". Crescent walked into the den, she was the last to go in. She laid down at the dens entrance, waiting for her mother. Her sisters and brothers finally fell asleep from so much yelling and playing. Night had come and her mother still wasn't home yet. She sighed and rolled onto her side, letting herself close her eyes. The calm singing of the crickets made her slowly fall asleep. She had to stay up and watch her siblings, but it was too much. Crescent stood in a beautiful prairie, the wind in her ear made her howl out. Her laughter rang out through the forest, and she jumped down happily rolling around in the tall grass. A voice made her bring her head over the grass. It was her mother. She happily ran out at her, tears filled her eyes as she jumped at her mother. Her mother held onto her tightly. Crescent looked up, her mother was gone faint whispers made her back up "Crescent" her mother said "You have to run" the Whisper said. Crescent backed up, the grass was blazing with fire. Smoke blew up from the fire, there in the fire stood her mother "Crescent, I told you" she said disappearing. Crescent was surrounded by fire she yelped and as she howled in pain as she withered away..... Crescent woke she jumped to her feet and looked around, nothing. She sighed and sat down, they were still asleep, but mother wasn't here.
Crescent sighed Maybe she's outside she thought, getting up and shaking her pelt. She peeked outside, nothing was there. She brought herself back in the den and watched the pups sleep. She perked her ears to a small sleepy voice, "Crescent..." said her small sister "Where’s dad?" she asked. Crescent stopped she wasn't allowed to tell them about dad... But Mom really wasn't coming back "Remember the stories he told us about fighting with Warriors?" she asked. The pup nodded and yawned. Crescent watched her "Well Kronadors killed him..." she said. The pup tilted her head sadly "What are those..." she asked. Crescent smiled weakly "They are horse lizard creatures" she replied. The pup's face looked heartbroken "So since moms gone forever, we are alone?" she asked. Crescent shrugged "I don't know if she’s coming back or not, But pretty much, she won't be" she said walking out of the den. The pup followed "So can we go find her?" she asked. Crescent shook her head "If you don't want to die of starving, then yes". The pup ran inside shaking them barking "Get up, get up!". She ran out with the confused pups following. Crescent smiled "Moms gone, we are going out to find food" she says as her voice shook. Her brother rubbed his eyes "I want Mom" he whined. Crescent rolled her eyes "Maybe we can find her" she Suggested, her long tail swinging back on forth. Her sister smiled "Maybe we will find the Warriors to help us" she Suggested. Crescent shrugged 'Maybe if we run into them" she said in doubt.
Crescent started walking she sighed, it was going to take a lot to hunt for three pups, and watch them. She braced herself for the trip ahead.
Crescent trotted along the forest trees, three pups on her back, pulling her fur and screaming. She looked back at them "Shhh!" she commanded, but it seemed to just get louder. She flattened her ears and fell from them jumping. She got up, making them fall "I'm a pup too!" she barked "I may be older, but it’s hard to carry wild dogs!" she hissed. The brother whimpered "But Crescent I'm like really bored!" he whined. Crescent shot him a look "Then be bored, if it will make you stop jumping like a crazy mutt" she growled lowering her body to let them up. Once she was moving again, her sister started to sing really loud and out of tune. Crescent grumbled "Please keep it down" she asked as nicely as she could without gritting her teeth. Her sister soon fell asleep after that, making it quiet again, at least Crescent could hear the mocking birds start to sing. She then hopped over a river carefully, trying not to wake the sleeping pup, or she actually might go death. Her steady pace helped the boys fall asleep instead of playing who can make the other one cry. Crescent was glad they were small, but still they felt like a ton. She came to a stop as she was rounded by the waterfall. The only way was to jump over the fallen tree blocking her way. She took one chance and jumped, she fell head over heels over it, landing badly. She stumbled up as her leg found a sharp pain, making her yelp and crumple down onto the ground harshly. The pups regained balance and they found Crescent lying there. Crescent felt limp as she tried to move. Her sister shuddered over to her "Crescent!" she whined. Crescent watched her "I-I can't move anymore" she said licking her cuts. Her brother rubbed his head "But then we'll stay out here..." "Until someone finds us!" the other brother finished. Crescent shook her head "I'm sure you can go on" she reminded. Her sister frowned "What about Karonadors?" she asked with a whimper. Crescent shrugged lightly "I don't know" she said rolling over.
Crescent watched them "I can't move! What do you want me to do about it?!" she hissed in pain, grabbing her leg. Her brother whimpered "Stay alive" he cried. Crescent snorted "It's not such a big deal-" she tried to get up, but it ended in a sharp howl of pain. Her sister growled "Stop Crescent! You’re hurting yourself" she cried licking her. Crescent sighed "Fine, you'll all die then" she said looking up at the sky. Her brother shook his head "No, we'll go find the warriors" he shot at her. Crescent growled "No, Stay here" she demanded. Her sister stood still "Hear that?" she asked listening to a rustle in the thick black of the forest. Crescent nodded slowly "Yeah" she said blankly. A tall female rose from the thick, she stared down at them "Pups" she said "Come". Crescent lowered her head "I-I can't I'm hurt" she replied. The wolf gently pulled Crescent to her feet, by her scruff and looked at the pups "Come, I have things to ask you" she says in a small gentle voice. Her Sister whimpered following "Crescent is hurt, and We are small, we need her" she said coldly. The female smiled "I'm Soraya, I am a warrior, I take in abandoned or lone pups in, and train them" she whispered sweetly. Her brother tilted his head "Won't you have so many?" he asked. Soraya shook her head "We can never have too Many Warriors, but I don't find pups often" she whispered. Crescent whimpered "Do you know what may of happened to our mom?" she asked. Soraya nodded "Karonadors just invaded last night, she may have been attacked". Crescent stopped "You mean, you knew she was... and never told us!?" she growled. Soraya shook her head "Nothing could be done". Crescent growled "Everything could have been done" she shot at her. Soraya sighed "So you’re hurt right? These are your Siblings, as I know". Crescent nodded "yeah" she said calmly wiping the blood off her paw. Her sister’s bright eyes looked up and Soraya, this wolf simply interested her, and how kind she was. Crescent raised her eyebrows "May I ask your name?" she asked flicking her tail away from her cut. Soraya looked up at the evening sky "I'm Soraya, I was wondering about you too, you seem so mature, and brave, I must ask of your name" she said lowering her head again to focus herself on Crescent. Crescent watched Soraya's eyes "I-I'm Crescent, and these are my brothers and my sisters" she said cautiously. Soraya nodded carefully "So the pups are too young to have names, If I'm correct?" she asked. Crescent nodded "Yes, Also, did you know my father.." she asked quietly. Soraya watched her blankly, wiping her sweet, soft smile from her bright, warm face "Uh, yes I did, Now that you say you’re Crescent, I remember everything from that dark day" she said coldly. Crescent watched her in interest "May I ask if you tell me?" she asked a bit curious. Soraya sighed "If you wish I shall".
Soraya cleared her throat, it had felt as If Crescent was in the story, right there in front of him, watching him with desire. She listened to Soraya calmly, a small delight flickered upon her. The brave noble Warrior stood, standing his ground. He watched the bloody red sky, to await the attack. He glistened in the last light of the day. He saw the Karonadors over the horizon, he didn't even flinch. His eyes where fixed on the creatures with hatred for every last one of them, flashing their dangerous teeth and snarling with death clenched in their teeth. His tall powerful legs bounded himself down into battle, at the end of his watch throne he called watcher, for it was his post he stood. He paced himself toward them, not even showing fear, Fear... he hated fear, for it was weak, powerless. He watched the beast run ahead to attack him. He jumped and sunk his teeth into the beast's throat snapping it easily. He lashed his claws out at every one of them that moved at him for an attack. His eyes full of strength, and destiny were flashing around watching them. He spun around and jumped at the attacker, sticking his armored claws into its throat violently. His eyes flickered dangerously at them, the creature's imitating stare fixed on the noble wolf, with every last snarl it had tucked away in itself. He snapped his attention on a beast creeping up slowly, about to pounce. As it lept from the ground, it was blasted by the Warrior's sharp avoidance. He felt he was in his strong element, for have he had taken down these horrible creatures, even without a scratch. He lept at one of them, flashing his sharp teeth when he pinned it. Its grin crept along its face. He growled at it, wondering why It was smiling when It was about to die. He turned his head, to see the leader of them, leap at him. He was thrown back, hitting against the cliffs edge. He forced himself up onto his weakness. He watched Rayo with every last blank stare he had left. Before the Warrior could make his next move, in attempt to escape the jaws, large teeth snapped around his neck. He lost control and fell from the edge, howling, until he was heard no more. Crescent had slowly opened her eyes when she heard Soraya stop. She wiped tears from her eyes, Soraya was so fine at telling stories, that Crescent had felt herself inside the story, herself.
Crescent watched Soraya with misty eyes "Thank you...” she said, holding her leg. Soraya opened her eyes, they seemed to have lost their shine. Soraya had shook her head "OK, I should take you somewhere, I am truly sorry I had kept you all here" she whispered taking Crescent's scruff. Crescent watched her mother's pups quietly, she watched their tired eyes follow Soraya. They had walked, it seemed to be forever, and she was worried about the pups. She listened to the birds hum turn into soft frog chirps as it fell night. Crescent watched the moon, same as it was before the other night. She yawned, putting her ears back for space to open wide. She watched the grass turn blue as they walked further, also the water, was not her stream's color, but white. She watched the forest from what she had known change into natural, to wonderful, mysterious beauty. She flicked her ears at her sister’s soft yawn. She clenched her teeth as her pain snapped back into its place. She looked up at Soraya, she looked tired as well. Crescent almost closed her eyes to the careful swing of her body. She snapped herself into motion when she felt Soraya's tense body loosen itself. She looked ahead of herself seeing a breath taking sight. Crescent sniffed the clean air, for it had a very clean smell of fresh pine needles. She looked up at Soraya's watchful eyes eagerly to get a clue if they were near the destination. She braced herself as Soraya padded threw some small rose bushes, carefully watching the pups follow. As they came out to the needles, the bright moon shone on her face, making the sight glimmer. She felt Soraya's walk quicken slightly as they came closer to the valley. She wiggled a bit "Are- Are we at the Warriors?!" she asked in surprise. Soraya nodded slowly "Yes" she mumbled with Crescent's scruff in her jaws. The beautiful streams glistened in the moon's glow of the night. She could feel her sibling's excitement start up. As they walked into the valley, faces of all kinds of Warriors peered out at them curiously. Crescent smiled at them I won't fit in she thought.
Soraya kept walking until she reached a tall wolf, just like she had thought the king would. She set Crescent down carefully and looked up “I have searched for any other pups, none" she told him slowly. He nodded "They are very lucky, the Karonadors, tonight are coming. Crescent put her ears back quickly "What? Tonight?!" she hissed "I'm tired, and I can't fight tired, and hurt" she growled. The wolf watched Crescent and her brothers and sister "Well, you'd need to rest, I'm afraid you won't be heading into battle wounded, or how little fighting you've done, you’d be gone pup" he bellowed. Crescent lowered her head, stressed. Soraya nodded getting Crescent's scruff again. She walked away until they came to a den, small and hidden. Soraya took Crescent and the pups inside "Stay here, you'll be safe" she whispered turning out of the den. Crescent smiled "Thank you" she whispered laying her head down. Soraya nodded quietly and walked out.
Battle in Isket -Last Paragraph-
Crescent listened to the pounds of feet smacking the ground loudly. The armor and teeth ringing sent her stomach flying. Luckily the pups had scared themselves into sleep, leaving Crescent with horror, alone. Crescent gritted her teeth when a sharp howl struck out in the mess. Her scruff fur was raised high with defense. Every shriek made a chill go up her spine. She couldn't hold back any longer. The howls of pain were making her gag, she couldn't stand it anymore. She got up and stumbled over to the den's entrance. She whimpered in horror of all the creatures lying there not moving, or wounded. She teetered out of there, shaken into paralyze. She stumbled back when wolves raced by. She narrowed her eyes at a beast running at Soraya's turned back. Over she thought racing over shoving her pain away. She bared her teeth at the large creature. She jumped at its neck, it was her instinct to grab the throat. She held on, gripping it tightly as the creature threw its head around. Crescent lept off it as she felt it go limp. She turned to see a Karonador make a choice to flee instead of attack her. She raised her nose high at Soraya. Soraya rolled her eyes "I told you to stay!" she growled. Lord Rayo looked around "They have flown, Victory!" he bellowed to them all. Loud yaps and barks rose from the valley. Crescent squinted at a figure lying there, stopping her excitement. She tilted her head and padded over slowly until she could see it clearly "Mom" she whispered falling over her body. Crescent nuzzled the cold body and raised her head, tears rolling down her cheeks, and howled. It was a slow, sad howl, nothing in the pitch gave any sigh of happiness. The echo of million howls rose from the valley now. She lowered her head, and let Soraya drag her away, "We have won, Thanks for saving me Crescent" she whispered letting go "You have earned enough respect to be a strong warrior" she said looking at the rising morning sun. The breeze had came back when Soraya left, ruffling her fur, it felt like the night she had last seen her mother two Crescent moons ago. She stood there watching the suns ray shine onto her, as the sing birds danced around singing their morning lullaby. She closed her eyes and raised her head "For Isket!" she barked, letting her voice free, followed by loud cheering. She patted her paws against the soft grass, soothing her. She watched her siblings dance around like the crazy mutts they are, but she actually smiled. She shook her head with a slight chuckle. She watched the Geese fly from the white, shallow water and rise into the sky. She laid her head toward the blue grass, and closed her sleepy eyes and let her dreams fill her head, I'm a warrior
