Pain, my shattered ribs made it hard to breath. "Come on!" Screams come from the stands all around me. I look up at my competitor opposite me. His teeth had obviously been sharpened just before the match because they were razor sharp, unnaturally sharp. Blood dripped onto the ground before me as he stepped toward me. "Get up!" My owner screamed at me. I struggle to get up, but I can't. The match is over, I've lost. My opponent stares at me. His huge form looms over me, and then he's gone. Money's exchanged and my owner drags me out of the pit. "Coward" he tosses me into the back of his truck. Pain flares in my chest and I yelp. He glares at me and slams the door. Rain patters against the sides of the truck and I sit there all alone. The darkness makes me feel depressed but I can at least get time away from my owner.

The truck comes to an abrupt stop and I dig my claws into the car's floor to steady myself. The back opens and my owner grabs my collar. I get a glimpse of where we are and realize it's not my home. All around us is just road and wilderness. I'm shoved out of the car and onto the side of the rode. Before I can even try to get up, my owner is in his car driving away. I struggle to breath, but can only gasp. It's hours before anyone notices me on the side of the road. A car stops and I fear it's my owner, back to get me. To my surprise, it's a young woman with a soft look in her eyes. She looks surprised and immediately concerned for me. I shy away from her touch at first, but am soon to tired to care. WIP
