I've been silently stalking the official R.A.W thread X3, and debating whether to apply to be an artist. But oekaki and my tablet don't get along with each other.
Anyways, I love the wolves and the whole story line behind them, and hope it's okay for me to post my entry for this lovely design.
Username: Snow
R.A.W. name:Delilah
Gender:Female
Personality:She's a gal who runs on a fight or flight instinct, and even when it's not necessary Delilah will end up choosing the former of the two. It's not that she goes around looking for a fight to start, to bully those around her or seek revenge. Instead she has the character to protect others, help those in need. ((And as you can guess the solution to this does not involve words to negotiate, reason or compromise.)) When confronting anothers, she's not afraid to make sarky comments. She rather much enjoys pushing the boundaries of another's temperament while fighting.
But with this particular characteristic of hers to protect, Delilah is also conflicted with herself. Although she isn't to found of the humans, they're the only reason that she's still padding around. After all, they fed her as a pup and they gave her a new leg. So at times, she often feels inclined to protect the humans from the R.A.W's who seek revenge. And although it may have seemed like she has turned her back on her fellow R.A.Ws, Delilah would then help/protect them if a human were attempting to kill them. In result, she's not really in a place which can be called a "side".
Delilah is very much a loner, a quite creature who keeps her opinions to herself while quietly observing. Not afraid to stand her ground if necessary against human or R.A.W, nor is she afraid to challenge those who have a higher rank than her -- to be honest she doesn't care about the ranks.
A R.A.W's a R.A.W, and that's the end of that.Although she may come off as lacking intelligence, due to acting before thinking, Delilah does have waves of inspiration. However she merely keeps them to herself, far more interested in what other's have to say.
Another factor of Delilah's personality it that when she wants to be, she'll be rather lazy. This has been proven after endlessly lying in the green shades of tree tops as well as rolling in grass, her white coat soon taking a shade of green. She enjoys taking in her surroundings, everything from the largest living tree to a small insect, and so she could easily spend a day doing nothing but watching the world around her.
Story:Delilah never really had a place she could call home; to be more exact she was a stray. She managed to survive her days as a pup by going door to door, begging for food. Naturally there were those who took pity, and then those who told her to get lost which fuelled her anger. However, at a young age she was hit by a car and the vets were unable to save her leg. In result it was amputated and her tail was damaged. Somehow she managed to find her way back on the streets, once again beginning her search for food.
Not long after that, Delilah was eventually found and taken to the laboratory. Various metal components were graphed onto her and she was even given a new metallic leg, receiving the missed ability to run. But at the laboratory, Delilah lacked the freedom she once had. In result her anger grew as she tried to fight her way out.~ ~ ~
Often when I let my eyes drift close, I remember looking up at a red door. And then it would change colour and become green. Or blue. Or brown. Endless doors appearing in front of my eyes, different by colour and panels of glass. An opening leading into heaven. A place were I would never be able to reach.
And then I would remember the scraps of food being tossed in front of my front paw, the other long gone, only a stump of a memory. I happily ate what was given to me, making a fuss would never have gained me the luxury of having a different meal. Then again, I had been expected to die if I hadn't survived the operation. And if I survived that then I was presumed to die if I was ever to escape onto the streets. And yet there I was, limping along from door to door, scavenging for unwanted food and I was living. It was a situation where I had to adapt or die. I did miss running, yes, but I was happy to be alive.
It was during dusk when hands grab hold of me, taking me away. The stars that had began to appear in the evening sky were beautiful, I had failed to notice anyone approaching me while I stared up at them in awe. However, that was the last image of the world I saw before entering another that consisted of nothing but big white walls.
Waking up had brought a new kind of agony. One of feeling the fear build up in me, the horrible smells crawling up my nostrils while the cold bars threatened to close in on me: I never had been used to small spaces. Nor was I used to having multiple pairs of eyes staring down at me.
However, I admit, that after a while I got used to the stench, the blinding walls as well as the wandering humans. The experiments that took place were callous, however I forced myself to endure them, telling myself that I had had worst. After all, my wish to gain a new leg had been granted.
I had been given another chance.

List Five facts about R.A.W.:- Due to their metallic parts, rain causes the metal to deteriorate which can lead to that part losing function.
- Out of a possible litter of 8, only 3 or 2 survive the transformation -- when the metal pushes from beneath the skin -- as it's extremely painful.
- The newer the experiment, the more artificial it is due to having more metal pieces than the older experiments.
- Dog tags were used to identify the first experiment, collars were used on the next ten and the chips were implanted beneath the skin of the rest.
- As their minds act like giant computers, there's the possibility of re-boots which can suddenly cause the wolf to become immobile at any given time or place.
((I'm still adding little things here and there, and I will add more if I do manage to get this little lady :3))
