Mini Short Story:
Void Runner steadily padded through teh snow, her scrawny, starving frame shaking violently. She felt her black eyes flicking around, searching for nothing. She knew something was there, through teh darkness...through the pain and misery.
"Are you alright?" The voice made her leap. She whipped around, her fur rising, not much because it was soaking. She instantly felt releif at the sight of the wolf. She growled, "You scared me, Toxicity." She smiled.
Toxicity smiled saying, "I'm sorry, Void Runner. I haven't seen you in forever. I...I was afraid something had happened...to you."
Void Runner growled, "Don't you think I can take care of myself, Toxicity??" She felt her ears pin.
Toxicity said, quietly, "It doesn't seem like you can anymore, Void Runner..." His green eyes scanned her mangled pelt, the wounds still bleeding.
Void Runner sighed, bowing in defeat. She said, "I'm injured, Toxicity...I'm...d-dieing."
Toxicity felt a stab of pain. He whimpered, closing up on the injured she-wolf, "No! You can't, Void Runner!! I...I..." love you.. He felt hot tears stream down his face, his jaws open in a silent wail. He stopped his words, knowing he had already said too much.
Void Runner looked at him, tears beginning to line her black eyes. "Please, promise me you'll never forget me." She was close to him, their noses almost touching. Toxicity was taller than her. Dried blood lined her mouth. Cuts viciously carved into her abdomen.
Toxicity could barely speak, his void broken, shattered, and hoarse from crying, "I-I w-won't, Void R-Runner. I'll n-never f-forget you... I-I can't..."
Void Runner felt her life ebbing. She said, weakly, "Why, Toxicity? Why could you put up with me?"
Toxicity said, shakily, "I love you! I love you, Void Runner!" He threw himself at her, grasping her in his arms. He felt her body. It was cold, unlike it usually was.
A smile creased Void Runner's lips. She said, burrowing into his warmth, "I...l-love you, too, T-toxicity.." She hugged him, saying quietly, "Never let me go..."
Toxicity whispered in her ear, tears streaming down his face, "I'll never let you go, Void Runner...never..." He felt his stomach clench as Void Runner's grip slowly weakened. Soon, her arms released their grip, and limply hung at his sides, still hugging him. She whispered, weakly, "I-I...love...you...T-toxicity..." He whimpered, wailing, "I love you, Void Runner! Please, don't leave me!!!"
I'm back on CS! I'll be attempting to tie up loose ends, i.e. way overdue customs in my closed adoption things.
I am looking for someone who draws horse-like creatures well for a custom lines creation. Pm me for details
