Welcome to the starter creation thread, here you can create your starter Pokemon
for the Mysteries of Mitos Pokemon arpg! Your starter Pokemon is the first Pokemon you’ll obtain.
You are free to design this pokemon however you wish within the conditions set below.
Please read all of the following information so the approval process of your starter can go smoothly!

There is now a dedicated section in the Mitos rarity list doc at the very bottom that shows
the starter pokemon choices on their own! It is called "Pokemon Starter Choices"!

Rules
✧ This is essentially a free limited common myo given to everyone who joins to create their own first pokemon with!

✧ Everyone is limited to having only one starter pokemon, whether you make your starter yourself or have someone else make it for you.

✧ There is an official starter Pokemon list to choose from. The choices are any pokemon that can evolve twice listed in the green column on this google doc!
(all viewers of the doc will always be anonymous)

✧ To be clear with the starter options, especially if the doc doesn't load all the way for you (it's a big document) the starter pokemon include every first stage pokemon in a three-part evolution line. This is any pokemon that evolves two times.

✧ You may choose one Pokemon from the starter list OR two to fuse into one Pokemon from the starter list.

✧ Your Pokemon can only have up to two types, and must be the regular type that pokemon usually has (or pick two types from the two pokemon chosen to fuse)

✧ Your starter pokemon can have any colors, patterns, markings, etc.! You may even make any of the colors close to the shiny colors for said pokemon, but it wouldn’t make it officially shiny; it would just happen to appear similarly to one.

✧ You may add accessories, clothing, props, etc. as long as they’re removable

If you would like to make your starter's ref/design off oekaki, you may do so! But you still have to make a cover under this thread and show the off oekaki ref in the description
The cover must be artwork in some way to go by cs's rules- a simple doodle of your starter with like a "below" arrow for example should work c:
You may not under any circumstances trace over/use official pokemon artwork or bases.
The artwork must be your own!

Don't forget to register your archive/storage as well!

You can use bulbasaur but not psyduck! Starter pokemon must be the first stage of a three stage evolution line
There are some awesome people in the discord who have offered to help make starters for others!
