EDIT: if you were that kid in art class who followed the teacher's step by step instructions but still your project doesn't look like your class, I am here to help. Once you finish all the steps and have your border, your want to place your color layer above the border layer but underneath your lineart. Then color in your lineart as you normally do, trying not to go outside the lines lol, and you have an actual border only on the edges! ta da
