    (dining hall)(tags;hu)
tearing off a piece of the muffin she popped it into her mouth, savoring the taste as it was a regular breakfast for her. it reminded her of the home and life she wouldn't be able to return to, "I'm not really one for seafood, I feel sympathetic seeing the fish and creatures I just can't, it's like I connect with them. i actually stopped going to aquariums because of that." she spoke, knowing it was a bit weird of her to feel sympathy for sea creatures although she was the daughter of the sea god. "I don't think I've been blessed by anything, I made it through high school in new york so that's a blessing within itsself." laughing lightly at her joke, although she was sure the girl probably wouldn't get it.

"well, I'm not very interesting I'm one of the best athletes on the swim team although I'm pretty sure I was cheating, with being posideon's kid and whatnot." she began, thinking about all of her past competitions she blew ahead in relays and other swimming things. diving was the only sport where she truly had to try. "that's where I got my jacket, but besides that I practically got kicked out by my mom after being claimed and now I'm supposed to live here I guess." she let out a sigh, a small headache forming as she thought about the last few hours of major events.

||Mirabelle Everhart|17|She/Her|Aphrodite|Head Counselor|Location: Dining Pavilion|Tags: Celeste, Lucy|

Mirabelle’s posture had gone from being fluid and relaxed to tense and rigid the moment Lucy had arrived. Despite the brave face she’d put on, she wanted nothing more than to shrink down and become invisible. Mes dieux. I do not have the energy for this today. Nonetheless, she sat and listened politely as Lucy prattled on and on with her seemingly genuine remarks. That girl could've fooled anyone. Nearly anyone. Mirabelle knew what she was really like - all sweet and innocent on the outside, but internally, she was filled with darkness. Somewhat like herself, if she was being honest. But Lucy's darkness was more... malicious. Manipulative. Still, Mirabelle simply listened. She didn't trust herself to speak amidst her steadily growing unease, not that she would get a word in edgewise anyway.
It was all too much when Lucy pulled her into a tight embrace. Her mask broke, and her eyes went wide with panic. She felt like a little girl again - like her former timid self, before she metamorphasised into the social butterfly she was today.
"Please don't - don't touch me," she managed breathily, fully aware that Lucy must have known of her discomfort with physical contact. "I can't - I don't like - I-I'm sorry." Her voice had been reduced to a mere mumble, and she cast her gaze to the ground. Deep breaths. Deep breaths. She was supposed to be setting a positive example for her new acquaintance, and here she was, on the brink of having a panic attack from a hug, of all things. She certainly would have been a bit put off and anxious even if it had been from someone she vaguely trusted, but from Lucy, of all people? The sudden act made her heart pound. Lucy was talking again, but Mirabelle was only hearing half of what she was saying. She came back to reality when the daughter of Apollo offered her coat. "Um - no, it's fine - please keep your coat, I've got one, see?" She gestured to the coat that she was still wearing, offering a shaky smile as she attempted to glue the broken pieces of her composure back together. Come on, Mirabelle, you're making a total fool of yourself. And in front of Celeste, no doubt.

||Juliet Pratten|16|She/Her|Hermes|Location: Dining Pavilion|Tags: Cass, Aggy|

"No, just... asking for a friend," Juliet supplied, albeit hastily. It wasn't a lie, perhaps, but not entirely the truth either. Despite how much she wanted to deny it, she still cared about Mirabelle a good deal. Not romantically - not anymore, at least. But once you share that bond with someone else, you never really stop caring about them. Thankfully, she was saved by responding when Aggy arrived at the Hermes table. She waved at her, but her mouth was once again full of pancakes so she neglected to greet her verbally. Instead, she listened to Cass talk, glad for the chance to eat more of her breakfast.

|||Chuck Oakes|He/Him|Satyr|Location: Dining Pavilion|Tags: Laika|

"Like, uh, thanks, man - er, ma'am - uh, Lieutenant?" Chuck stammered, though he had eaten plenty of silverware in his day. It was nice of her to warn him, though... maybe she wasn't so bad after all? That didn't change the fact that she was still intimidating as Tartarus. "Oh - uh, cool, Mira's got an older sister now. Sounds pretty wango." His gaze flickered over to the Aphrodite table, where Mira was talking with the woman - Celeste, and - wait, was that Lucy? Since when had they been friends? Hadn't Mira even warned Chuck about her a few times? Shaking his head, he turned his attention back to Laika. "Uh, yeah, like, hi - um, I'm Chuck. Uh, nice to like, meet you in person?" The uncertain response came out more like a question than a statement.

|Vivienne Isole|18|She/Her|Khione|Location: Mount Marcy Caverns|Tags: Nicholas|

Vivienne nearly jumped when Nicholas dismissed the spirits. Though seeing them had certainly been disconcerting, the thought of them lingering around unseen was even more disturbing. Oh - Oh my. She could almost feel the invisible eyes watching her, waiting for her to make the tiniest mistake, to show the slightest bit of emotion... Or was that just her mother's ever-lingering presence? She couldn't be sure. She listened politely as Nicholas spoke, nodding here and there to show that she was paying attention. Her brow furrowed and her eyes narrowed when he coughed up a bit of blood, but she neglected to comment on it otherwise.
"The only water we have here is frozen, apart from the plumbing fixtures," Vivienne assured him. "There is a rather large training hall a distance deeper into the tunnels if Xaliphax would like some space to roam around," she supplied. "We also possess a dungeon of sorts, empty for the time being. I am not entirely sure if either will be to his liking." Her voice was back to its usual flat, businesslike tone. "As for my mother... she is no doubt listening to our very conversation." Something in her gaze darkened; something nearly imperceptible to anything but the well-practised eye.
As if on-cue, Khione materialised in a flurry of snow in the hall. Vivienne greeted her with a sharp nod, though the goddess seemed much too interested in Nicholas to pay her daughter any mind.
"You wished to speak with me, Nicholas Storm?"

Caleb Thomas|19|he/him|Athena|Dining pavilion/Cabin area|Tags:Emmie

Once he had eaten, there wasn’t much left to interest Caleb at the dining pavilion. Several of the campers seemed to have broken off into conversations, but none were of much interest to him. He did notice a couple of unfamiliar faces, new campers he presumed, one of which looked as though she’d walked straight out of an old-timey movie. He’d have to find out about that, but right now it didn’t seem to be of the highest importance.

He ran a hand through his hair absently, only then realizing his hand was bare. He’d forgotten his ring back in cabin six. It was a recent invention of his, a silver signet ring engraved with the symbol of Athena, but when you pressed down on the signet it transformed into a shield. He didn’t think he’d be needing the protection anytime soon, but it was a good way to impress people should such an opportunity arise.

With a final glance around the dining area, he got up and made his way back down to the cabins, stepping inside and quickly finding the ring where he’d left it on his bedside table. He slid the ring onto his finger as he stepped back out, his eyes landing on a girl who seemed to be heading towards the arena rather than the dining pavilion, where most of camp was convening at the moment.

“Skipping breakfast?” He called to the girl who he recognized as a daughter of Zeus as he walked closer. “It’s the most important meal of the day you know. At least, that’s what they say, but I’m not sure where the science behind that lies. The phrase could’ve been coined by someone who really had a bias for pancakes.” He pondered his words thoughtfully for a moment, as if this were a life changing revelation.

“There’s been a lot of weird stuff going on lately. You’re not one of the quest people are you? Trying to avoid a meeting? Because if you are you’re doing a miserable job considering it hasn’t started yet.” He raised his eyebrows curiously, aware that he was rambling but not really caring. He wanted to find out more about this quest that the young Athena head counsellor had seemed so eager to go on, but nobody seemed to have any answers yet.

if only i could keep you in my pocket
to give me some diagnosis of why i'm so hollow
please give me instructions, i promise i'll follow
i tripped on my ankle and fractured my elbow
but doesn't that mean that the tour's gonna sell, though?
i try to explain the good faith that's been wasted
but after an hour, it sounds like complaining
wait, don't go away, can i lie here forever?
you say that i'm better, why don't i feel better?
the universe works in mysterious ways
but i'm starting to think it ain't working for me
doctor, should i be good, should i be good this year?

Ophelia Rogers | 16 | She/her | Aphrodite/Cabin 10 | Location: Cabin 22 | tags: Aydan |

I need to run, I need to get out of here, come on!
Ugh, why won't my legs move? She was panting, the air getting heavier, weighing her down where she stood. 'No. This can't happening, move!' Her legs held still. 'Crap, they're gonna kill me, I'm gonna die, and I won't even fight it.' She reached a hand up to pull out a knife, but her hand came back with a silver butterfly wing. 'No time for questions!' She threw it at the monster with all she had. Then she was falling, down, down, down...

Ophelia flinched, then stiffened. Where was she again? Someone was breathing near her, the sound breaking the silence of whatever wee hour of the night it was. She turned her head slowly to examine them, taking in the sharp chill of the air above the blankets. Her eyes landed on them, and she relaxed a little as she traced Aydan's jawline with her eyes. See, you'll be fine. She frowned at his closeness, but resisted the urge to knock him off the bed and lose all her heat. Stupid boy, she thought affectionately as she watched his face twitch in the dark, probably deep in his own dreams. Dreams...what was mine about again? She pondered, shutting her eyes to picture the remnants of it, already dispersing into the night. The Camp...it was about the camp? No, it was more than that... I told them to run, but I couldn't stop it... Was I, buying them time to say goodbye? The thought chilled her to the bone, and her breath caught in her throat.

Easy now...1,2,3...1,2,3...1,2... Just like that, she was out once more, waiting on the day.

Several hours later, Ophelia woke up for real, this time to morning sunlight cutting through dust motes in the unfamiliar cabin. She started to get up, but then she noticed that the boy, who's hair glinted red in the sunlight, was still asleep next to her. We're going to be late to breakfast! I bet Mira is worried out of her mind! This time, she threw her pile of blankets on top of him. "Rise and shine, Sleeping Beauty!" She called, rolling out of bed and stuffing her feet into her beat-up boots. Does this cabin have to be freezing? She wondered, the cold air making her breathes sharp and shallow. She turned back to Aydan, eyeing him and wondering if he was awake. Should I...poke him or something? She stepped closer, studying his form. Her eyes caught on something on his wrist, ink. She inched closer, then it hit her and she nearly snorted with laughter. And they didn't know he was a Khione kid? Who found him, Hank?

Draco waited patiently by a tree waiting for Chiron's return with the Lieutenant Laika. He hummed quietly unsure of what to do.

Niji "Ji-Ji" Sakura Budōnoki • 17 • (he/they) • Homosexual • Dionysus • Location: Apollo Cabin• Tags: Open!, Random NPC

Niji frowned as he watched his friend's retreating form. He hoped he found his dog. His frown deepend when he realized he was stuck with the donut.
He glanced at the donut and a random camper walking past. They stopped the camper, who glanced at his hair. "Happy birthday have a donut." Niji said tiredly shoving the donut at the camper.
The camper took it and walked to a gr and up of people who immediately started whispering.

'Great.' He thought.
Niji glanced inside the Apollo cabin; it was plum full of campers and Niji definitely needed medical attention, so he walked into the cabin and curled up in a corner falling asleep almost as soon as he sat down.

Sa'd "Lucky Charm" Salam•17•trans male (ftm)•Bi••they/them•Host of Set•Location: The Hermes Cabin•Tags:Open!, Hermes cabin, Ares cabin

Sa'd sighed getting up they were starting to get cold and besides it was late and they needed to attempt to sleep.

"Where are we going?" Set asked.

Sa'd shrugged. "Does it matter? Cute that you can answer now. Real convenient."

Set stayed silent for a moment before humming. "You know what would be fun and keep people away from you love?" Set cooed.

"I'll give you three and a half seconds to apologize before I put it on."

"No, no you won't." Set said so sure of himself.

Sa'd grabbed the amulet and put it on forcing the God of Chaos out.

"Oh Gods what did I do?" Sa'd whispered.
Set looked at Sa'd and then down at his hands.

"Neat."

"H-how do you feel? Is the barrier trying to pull you back out? Are you alright? Feeling faint? Weak? Let's get you something to eat."

Set looked down at his host.
"I don't have to eat you know this. I'm fine. I feel fine. The barrier is not kicking me out, I'm not feeling faint or weak. I'm not hungry and unlike you I don't have to... wait so you do care!" Set yelled happily.

"What no I don't how dare you say that. Fight me!" Sa'd yelled.

Maybe later Lucky Charm for now let's have fun. But first how do I look?

"Like a Hawaiian trashcan puked you up. You're wearing a almost pink fedora, a blue Hawiian shirt with almost pink and off white flowers, a red tie, khaki shorts, a sandals. Please change."

"No. Hey who should we prank?"

"Can I get some sleep?" Sa'd asked.

Set ignored them and started rattling off places to prank and how to prank them.

"Can I PLEASE get some sleep? No! We are not sending a cabin to be judged! Now is not the time!" Sa'd yelled finally hearing one of Set's suggestions.

Set waved his hand absentmindedly before checking his smartphone.

"Set you can't do that here! Put that somewhere else! You're gonna attract monsters!" Sa'd said jumping to grab at the phone.

Set held the phone just over Sa'd's head using their small size to the taller man's advantage.

"I'll let you have this one on condition; you let me prank two cabins and you help." Set offered.

"That's two, well, nevermind. Let me think." Sa'd ordered without meaning it.

Set tried to walk away while Sa'd was thinking, but Sa'd gave him a look and touched Set's wrist.

"Fine..., but harmless pranks right?" Sa'd asked slowly.

Of course! Why wouldn't they be harmless?" Set asked a little too innocently.

"That's why." Came Sa'd's answer.

"Wait here."

"Alright." Sa'd said before Set disappeared to get something.
Set returned rather quickly, at least quicker then Sa'd would have thought, but he returned with two creatures.

"Are you serious! A Griffin and a Sphinx? What prank will these do? Hey wow look at that! We're lunch!" Sa'd yelled their animal form growing so solid it was opaque and Set was sure he could have touched Sa'd's tail.

"I can take them back." Set offered.

"No, you know what, it's fine! It's fine. Fine. Super dandy. Please be my guest go prank the cabins. In fact; prank the whole camp! Why settle for these two creatures? Bring the harbringer of Chaos, set the forest on fire! See if I care!" Sa'd screamed.

Sa'd was close to tears even being seperated Set could feel it.

"I-I. Don't cry I don't like this. You aren't supposed to be upset. Why are you upset?"

With those few words Sa'd's hard exterior broke. Something about Set made it crumble to the ground like the Duat.

"Like you don't know! You ruin everything! I have no friends, no family, no home! The Duat's gone, the Nomes gone! Camp Halfblood is in ruins, people are dead! I don't know if Felix is alive! You ruin everything you come in contact with including me!" Sa'd yelled tears streaming down their face like a dam bursting.

"I-is that how you truly feel?" Set asked.

"Yes!" Sa'd screamed their hands moving so wildly that it caught on the amulet and broke the chain causing the amulet falling to the ground.

"Fine we'll prank the cabins then you're going to sleep and I'll leave you alone." Set informed the young boy.

"Good." Sa'd said freeing their mind from any thoughts, so Set could get in their mind without much struggle.

Set went back into his host, picked up the amulet slipping it into his pocket, and walked towards a cabin with the Sphinx and Griffin close behind.
Since Set was the one in charge he had on the clothing Sa'd hated so much and had wanted him to change.

Set walked over to the Ares cabin placed a small emerald on the ground and ordered the Sphinx to guard it knowing that the Greek war god's children would try to fight the creature rather then listen. Next, Set walked to the Hermes cabin, walked inside, tucked Sa'd into a empty bed, put a note addressed to Sa'd along with a peridot on the grass outside the cabin door and ordered the Griffin to guard it.

Set went inside the cabin and sat in a corner facing Sa'd. He wasn't going to make himself known not now that the boy had rejected him, but he would make sure no one hurt them. Set whimpered quietly he didn't understand why this hurt so much. He had been rejected by countless other magicians with many of them being much more powerful then Sa'd, so why did this one feel different? Why did he want to curl up and sleep forever? Why did he care?

"Oh Gods and Godesses. I care." He groaned quietly.

Set supposed that it didn't matter anymore. Not now. If Sa'd didn't want him what did it matter?
Set tuned into Sa'd's feelings before stiffling a cry. Why didn't the magicians trust them? That's why they sent them here to get rid of Sa'd. How much did they know? No wonder Sa'd was so upset.

Set walked over to Sa'd before whispering "I'm so sorry. I can't change it; I'm not sure I would if I could, but you're stuck with me and while it's not what you want to hear I-I love you. Just remember that." Set whispered before going to the corner facing Sa'd and falling alseep to numb the pain.

Skylar Kakitid, 16 years old, Female, Daughter of Hecate, 7 year camper, Location: Cabin 20 --> Dining Pavilion, Tags: Open, Mentions: None

Skylar awoke with a start. She had not slept well, nightmares and memories plagued her again. But now she was late for breakfast. She knew how important today would be for her siblings and other campers. The counselors had to work to reassure them and to be strong for them. After the night they had just had, she had to be tough. Being late to breakfast wasn't going to help that! She quickly got dressed and got ready for the day, before flying out of the Cabin door. She raced towards the Dining Pavilion, where several of her siblings looked very annoyed that she was not there. Quickly she sat down at Hecate table and started to go through questions one by one, as she ate. She worked to answer questions and reassure while trying to appear sturdy to her siblings. They needed her to be powerful right now and reliable, so that is what she would be. She briefly heard someone say something about a quest meeting after breakfast, and she silently took a mental note of that. It would be good just to see if she could offer any information.

Bay Laurel, Immortal, Female, Drayd, Location: Forest --> Dining Pavilion, Tags: Laurel -->Open, Mentions: None

Bay Laurel nodded and brought Laurel to Cabin One. She helped Laurel get settled before dashing out without a word. She had to check on the dryads. Luckily, when she arrived at the forest she saw that most of the dryads were huddled together and were helping to heal the frozen with their song. Bay joined in and as a group, they stated to warm up. Huddled together, the dryads felt alseep, content in each other's company.

-Timeskip to morning-

Bay Laurel woke up with the other dryads as they set off towards the Dining Pavilion. They liked to work there and serve meals, it have them a job and a sense of purpose at camp. Together, they arrived and together they got the meals ready. Bay took out plates of steaming bacon, pancakes, and so much more out to campers and listened as the talked and cried together. She searched around for more people to serve as she bustled around the Pavilion.

Emerson "Emmie" Tags: Caleb Location: Outside Zeus' cabin

Emerson was making her way to train when a voice called out to her asking if she was skipping breakfast. She turned to face Caleb "Hey! Um yeah, not in the mood for all the doom and gloom so I decided it'd be a good time to train." she said offering him a sheepish smile. She chuckled at his thoughts about the common phrase before thinking on it herself. "Personally, I prefer french toast." she told him tapping her chin with a finger. She perked back up when he mentioned the upcoming quest. "No. Luckily or unluckily,
dependingon how you look at it, I don't met the requirements to go. And am I really avoiding a meeting if the meeting didn't even come into my mind until you just mentioned it?"
she questioned as she wiggled a finger at the Athena counselor with a smile. "Anyway, from what I know of this quest it consists of campers who havehad dreams that correlatewith our winter in June situation. " she told him taking a few strides before motioning him to follow.

Aydan Tags: Ophelia Location: Khione cabin

Aydan felt the heaviness of something on top of him. He slowly opened his eyes squinting at the harshness of the sunlight. He really would prefer the room the be dark still. His eyes then focused on Ophelia who he caught eyeing his snowflake tattoo. "Beautiful? Me? You really think so?" he chuckled. He had actually woke up in a good mood, maybe because he actually got a goods night sleep free of nightmares. Though at some points during the night he swore he could feel some movement from Ophelia. He was curious if she was ok, he wondered if he should ask her or if that would be too invasive. He decided that he would leave it to her to talk about if she wanted to. He stretched before looking at the time, everyone should be eating breakfast now. He tossed the heap of blankets off of him and got up. "I uh.... need to change out of these clothes and maybe brush my hair." he realized his hair was probably a mess right now. "If you could turn around while I change real quick then we could head to your cabin and you could get whatever you need before we hunt down Mirabelle." he said with a slight blush as he ran his fingers through his hair to try to be more presentable.

Sa'd woke up yawning somewhat late into the day.
They looked around rubbing their left eye and then their right before freezing from the lack of recognition.

"Set where are we?" Sa'd asked, but no reply came.
"Set? Buddy?" Sa'd called out.

Finally a loud snore came from a dark corner.

Sa'd chocked back a laugh. "Hey Set?" Sa'd called from under the covers.

A louder snore answered them. Sa'd couldn't help, but laugh as he walked to the corner and gently shook Set's arm.

Huh? What's wrong! Sa'd didn't do it."

"Y-you're still going to defend me even after what I said? Why? I would have walked away." Sa'd whispered his eyes looking at Set's lap.

"Of course you wouldn't have."

"You don't know that! You can't know that! I almost left after I went to my Nome. I almost left! How could I do that to you?" Sa'd yelled.

"Sa'd shh. People are sleeping we don't want to wake them and have them overhear this. They could hear something they shouldn't."

"But tell me truthfully that you know that I wouldn't leave." Sa'd begged.

"When we got to the training Nome and then stayed there because Felix decided it would be safer we got into that fight. The one where we seperated for a week and you almost died. You COULD have left. You COULD have found another God or Goddess to host. You COULD have led a normal life, denounced the magicians because of me, but you didn't. You STAYED for our nome, for Felix. Not for another god or goddess,
not for the normal life you wanted then and you feel guilty for wanting now, you stayed becuase some small part of you knew we were meant to be together. You STAYED Sa'd and if you stayed through that; through almost dying then you won't leave no matter what comes."
Set explained gently.

Sa'd fell to their knees in front of Set and covered their face crying. Causing Set to frown not only because they were crying, but because Sa'd was not sleep deprived now; they were too weak to stand because of being seperated now, but how would he convince them to join again? He didn't want to trick Sa'd because it was Sa'd joining once more should be Sa'd's wanting not a trick.

Sa'd sniffled and looked up at Set wiping the tears from their eyes. Set produced a napkin and wiped the tears and snot that were running down Sa'd's face.

"There we go. All better."

"Can we join? I-if you want, want." Sa'd stuttered out.

"Are you sure it's what you want? If you have even one doubt in your mind then please don't do it." Set said fear and worry in his eyes for Sa'd's wellbeing.

Sa'd held out their hand to Set with a small smile.
"Wanna dance?" Sa'd asked shyly.

"Well of course." Set said returning his smile.

Set gently took their hand and twirled into Sa'd's arms as Sa'd dipped him, Set's leg rising above Sa'd's head and Set's hair touching the floor.
Set slowly melted into Sa'd the two beings becoming one so smoothly that to anyone watching it would look as if they trusted each other wholeheartedly and they hadn't gotten into a fight the night before.

Sa'd sneezed after they had joined together fully.

"Bless you. How do you feel?" You need to eat."

"I feel great actually. Stop giving me your power, I'm fine. I don't need it. A-are you allowed to bless me? I mean you're Chaos, so I'm not sure if that's allowed." Sa'd said.

I'm also not allowed to have anyone host me, but here we are. So do you want some food? Oh someone's waking up! Do you want a giant muffin? Hey what are we wearing?" Set asked.

"What was that middle part?" Sa'd teased.

"Someone's waking up." Set answered.

"Uh-huh." Sa'd answered. "WE are wearing our hair down today, a grey t-shirt, a black Hawiian shirt with grey flowers over the shirt, black ripped jeans, and our thigh high boots."

"Oh! It's almost a perfect mix of both of us!" Set said excitedly.

"Do you want me to change to make it more you? I can add the tie." Sa'd offered.

"Here just add this if you don't mind." Set asked pulling the amulet out of their pocket.

Thankfully it was didn't break again. He didn't want all of his hard work to be in vain.

"But Set this is a protection amulet. It'll seperate us again."

Set grabbed their hand with their other and squeezed it.
"If you want a God or Goddess to stay with you then you can put it on. The amulet knows when you do and don't want to be joined, so if we truly want to be joined nothing will happen."

Sa'd nodded their head before releasing their hands and putting the amulet on. They both let out a breath they didn't know they were holding feeling relieved that they stayed together.

"Can we-"

"Yes, dear, we can let our tail out." Sa'd answered cutting him off.

Sa'd had heard the question so many times he knew what Set wanted before he finished.

"Thank you."

Sa'd nodded and sat down on the bed looking at their tail.

"It's forked. And scaly." Sa'd said.

Mmm-hmm." Set hummed and walked out of the Hermes cabin and to the Ares cabin to check up on the Sphinx.

“I feel my fathers power near by” says Anubis. Jay looks around and says “where is his host Anubis” Anubis is silent for a moment and says “near the Aries cabin” Jay nods and says “ok we are going there” Anubis groans and says “really jay?” Jay smiles and says “yes we are” she creeps around the edge of the Aries cabin and spots a boy and says to Anubis “set took a host?” “He did” Anubis frowns and Jay walks over “jay!” jay snaps to him “stop!” She watches the Now new host of set. She walks over and says “hello!”

Draco waited patiently by a tree waiting for Chiron's return with the Lieutenant Laika. He hummed quietly unsure of what to do.

Sa'd glanced at the Sphinx. "Seriously? A Sphinx?" They asked.

"Yeah. They'll try to fight it, but it's immortal, so they won't do anything." Set answered with a haphazard grin.

"Make sure she doesn't eat anyone." Sa'd sighed.

"Don't worry I took out it's fangs, so it won't eat anyone since the fangs make it grouchy. Pushes into the gums."

"I'll... take your word for it." Sa'd answered.

Sa'd metally groaned when they heard a voice.

"Do you want me to take over? I don't mind and I know you aren't comfortable talking to people."

Sa'd nodded. "Yes please."

Set nodded as Sa'd relinquished control to Set allowing him to do whatever he wanted and to say whatever he wanted. Sa'd hoped that Set wouldn't make them regret it.

Well, hello Anubis. How are you? Oh! I see you have a new host. Looks nice. Don't let this one burn up now." Set said his voice mixing with Sa'd's and turning the two into one quiet, smooth, and incredibly charming sound.

"Set! Don't be rude." Sa'd yelled the boy's voice taking over for a moment.

"I was just warning him nothing bad." Set said his hands going up in a mock surrender.

"You're gonna make her worried. Uhh hi." Sa'd said looking up at the girl and giving her a smile that was a mix of embarrassment and nervousness.

"I'm Sa'd." Sa'd told her.

"And I'm Set! God of Chaos, harbringer of doomsday- ooh! A butterfly!" Set yelled pointing at it.

Sa'd started laughing a quiet, tinkling sound almost like bells.
"You- you-." Sa'd wheezed.

Sa'd fell to the ground laughing before choking out "So dangerous. Definitely the harbringer of death and destruction."

When Sa'd had gotten themself under control they got back up.

"So what's it- fine I'll be nice. What's HER name?" Set asked rolling his eyes and pointing to the girl.

"She is an it when referred to as his host though. No of course you aren't love! Why would you ask that?" Set asked offended.

"It doesn't matter if you're a host. You're still reffered to as they because it's your pronouns- oh that's shat you're getting at with her. Heh. Sorry dear." Set apologized to the girl not bothering to explain that Sa'd was speaking to him telepathically and not bothering to fill in the parts of the conversation that was missing.
