Nadia was at a panic. She stammered and lashed out her arms as she said, "Lady Akane! I am so glad you re alright! T-There was a criminal at your house and we feared you may have been hurt by that strange man! T-There is going t-to be a t-t-trial and the Association said we all had to attend." She said worriedly while holding her hands tightly and her ees glinting in discomfort and fear. "We need you to attend. Tomorrow morning." She was pleading at this point.

Knight blunk away after hearing sounds in the forest. He rose silently and started to walk around, taking a look through the area. He saw nothing but could feel a strong presence. He assumed it was Skye, but something was different. Without thinking, he called out into the dimmed night. "Skye! Is that you?" He said, not yelling, but loudly enough to be heard from some distance.

Akane nodded, paying little attention to the dazed woman. "Yes yes," Akane said, a little annoyed at this point, "I will go to the trial. For now, let's get home." She released herself from Nadia's grip and started walking down the path home. Night was slowly closing in now, streets bare and empty. Akane kept glancing back, just to make sure the anxious maid was keeping up. Akane managed to get home safely, manuovering through winding paths. She opened the gate and walked slowly up the drive.

Riko's eyes snapped open. She was still in demon form, eye's bright red- a dangerous red. She heard a strange call from a human. She was sure she had recognized the voice. Crawling out from her hollow she peered out slying, looking around through the darkness, lit only by the dim crescent moon. Riko decided to stay shock-still, eyes flicking about as she tried to find the person that called.

Nadia followed Akane up the path and as soome Akane's mother spotted Akane, she dashed to her and hugged her in relief. "I was so worried! What happened!? Are you hurt, honey?" She said without taking a breath. Mr. Sohma was in deep thought, still making sure that everything was as they left it. They were frantic. None of the maids, butlers or servants were one the first floor. Many had already gone home while the few that were invited to spend the night slept uneasily in the guest rooms.

Knight turned his head when the presence moved and facepalmed once he noticed the difference in Skye's energy and the newcomer. "Oh, great..." He groaned to himself at his idiocy. He stood up and sighed to himself, putting his hand on his stomach from a bit of hunger. "Whoever you are, sorry for the confusion." He called out to the presence he felt and began to walk away.

Akane hugged back her mother. "Yes I'm fine. I just came downstairs and the front door was open..." She replied, flicking out some of her hair from her mouth. "I don't think anything's missing; I took some of my things to James'." Her eyes wandered around the house. Everything looked peaceful, except from her parents. It was the middle of spring, turning summer. Sakura trees were blooming, pinky white petals scattering green grass. The species wasn't native to Illysmardre, a foreigner had planted a seed and from it sprang lots more. Akane drowned out the voices of her parents, reaching out to catch a flower in the dim night.

Riko didn't know what to do. This mysterious person had 'surrendered', leaving without a word. His aura was strange; not something she had encountered before. Riko stiffled a yawn, crawling back into her hollow. The night was still pretty young, but she decided stake-out wasn't on her agenda tonight.

Mr. and Mrs. Sohma calmed themselves slowly and sighed. "We'll turn in for the night. You should go to bed soon, Akane." Mrs. Sohma said while her and her husband climbed the steps. Nadia was a bundle of nerves and turned to look at Akane. "Mistress Akane?" She said slowly and walked to her. "Are you worried about the trial? That man was strange. He might become violent." She said with a quivered voice.

Knight began to dash. The leaves crumpling beneath his feet at his first step, then the sound disappeared as he continued. He moved fast so he could get out of the forest. It wasn't like Skye to be late, let alone keep him waiting. He better have a good explaination for this. Knight throught to himself while looking side to side as he ran. One he approached the border of the forest, he skid to a stop before he could tumble down the edge of the hill. He scoured the area before he started to make his way down the steep hill and towards the village.

Akane shrugged Nadia off and started ascending the marble stairs. "No," She said airily, "Anyway, Association guards will be there anyway... Besides, I'm not a child anymore Nadia- I can handle this stuff." Partly annoyed by the fretting miad, she slammed the door to her bedroom closed and flopped down on her bed. She slowly drifted to sleep, tired by the many events of the day.

((Okay))

Akane woke up, propping herself up with her elbows. She idly stretched each individual finger, trying to stretch out the tiredness. She sat fully upright, changing out of yesterdays clothes into something different. She slipped on a robe and opened the oak doors to her armoir. She laid out two dresses on her bed; a simplistic or a more formal one. She frowned, taking the silk-covered hanger of the simpler one with a flourish as she turned towards the floor-length mirror. Akane hung it up, placing the black-trimmed one back into her wardrobe. She hastily changed into the dress, realising that today was the trial at the Assocciate. She looked at herself in the mirror. Breathe, she thought to herself, act normal and they won't suspect. She ran a hairbrush through her golden locks and patted down her dress, opening the door wide and taking a step onto the landing.

James woke up, the shining morning sun blazing through the french doors of the balcony. Xaria snorted and spreading out her wings. She had grown a little bigger through the night, wingspan larger than his hands. James cupped Xaria, the blue dragon barely fitting in his open hands. She gazed up at him with intelligent eyes, a little smile playing on her lips. James grinned and threw her into the air. Xaria sneezed and flapped her wings hurridly, half-hanging the air. Jame lent a hand, pushing her rear legs so that she could spring off. Xaria lept off, claws making tiny dents in James' palm. She flew around the room a few leaps, each time getting stronger. Finally she hurtled towards the bed, rolling uncontrollably forward until she hit the pillows. Puffing out alittle smoke, James said mentally, "Stay here, I'll get some food." Xaria nodded and curled up, watching outside wearily. James dashed downstairs, sneaking through the kitchen and into the pantry. He managed to bring some dried meat and a dish of water back into his bedroom. Xaria snapped it up quickly and plunged her nose into the water, drinking happily. James just sat cross-legged opposite Xaria, admiring her scales that shone in the light.

Riko crawled out of her hollow, covering her eyes from the sun. She stood upright on the branch, balancing herself out with her arms. She nimbly ran across, jumping off at the last minute when the bendy branch was low enough. To a stranger who didn't know Riko, that would've seemed to be a normal girl with incredible agility walking off a branch- Riko was back in normal form, neutral as she liked to call it. She strolled around the forest, trampling on dried branches

(lol ok)

Akane's parents were already awake. Although the trail was in two hours, they panicked along with the staff who were also called to attend. Nervously, they made slight convorsation, but many were trembling and all had their voices trembling. Nadia refused to speak at all and just stood by the staircase, waiting for Akane in a stuttering mess if she did speak. She ran her fingers over the ends of her long black hair and looked at the people in the foyer and then the staircase.

Skye never slept throughout the night and still lay in the position he had when the sun began to rise. "Hey, scum. We're going." A guard snapped as he unlocked the door and swung it open. Skye stood silently and waited for the man to lead, but for once, one of the guards weren't frightened senseless from his pressence. He kept his compossure as the guard lead him out to the court room. There were dozens of benches lined in a row and a table for the victom on the right from the podium and the convict was to sit at the left. Skye was led to his chair then his left ankle was cuffed to the leg of the chair of which he sat. The chair was attached to the ground. "Good luck." The guard scoffed. "You'll need it." He said as he turned to leave. A smug look on his face that would have made anyone else jump up and attack without a thought. Skye, however just sat silently and nodded, speaking only two words. "Thank you."

Knight was still searching town. His rage rising as he searched. He had scoured the village and there was no sign of Skye anywhere. It was like he had vanished from existance. He hopped along the rooftops just quickly enough not to be seen. The collar of his thin, white shirt was flapping in the wind while he moved. It wasn't long until he decided to give up for now. Groaning, Knight took to the streets, walking like any other human, towards his favourite bakery for breakfast. He ordered his usual and sat by the window, eating while trying to figure out what happened. He tapped the table with the fingernails of his right hand and stared vacantly out the window.

Mayia was roaming the streets with Hunter by her side. There wasn't much that she would do, and the night was restless enough. The shopkeepers of a few stores smiled as she passed and waved. She was only well known by the people who worked in any store that sold food. She waved back every time she passed, but just kept walking. Something was strange though. She seemed to be walking towards the Association's building. The expression on her face was passive.

Akane descended down the staircase, white pumps barely making a sound on the cashmire rug that coated the marble tiers. She glanced around at the trembling crowd, nearly throwing her hands in the air and saying 'what is all the fuss?!'. Sharply exhaling, she stepped into the busy crowd. Spotting Nadia waiting for her, she effortlessly glided towards the nervous woman, restraining herself from grabbing her shoulders and shaking her. "Hm. I don't get what the fuss is about really Nadia..." Akane said, rather calm and tranquil. As she looked around, she spotted her parents. Ignoring them, she turned her attention to the maid, waiting for a reply. My stuff's still at James... better get it later, she mused to herself, noting it down mentally.

James walked over to the terrance, looking around the grounds. The vast, empty green seemed almost daunting though the freshness of the morning air was inviting. Deciding on going out for a ride, he scooped up Xaria and walked outside into the courtyard, Angel following happily. Thankfully, the whole manor seemed rather empty and he tacked up Jet, his black Thoroughbred mare. Her shiny coat gleemed as he led her out, Xaria looking at the mare wistfully. Aa James jumped on, the group decided to trot into the estate's secret glade; Angel followed happily on the ground whilst Xaria stayed curled up in his hood. Time for some proper flying lessons I think, Xaria, he thought mentally, knowing the cerulean blue dragon would be able to hear. Xaria snorted, stretching back her wings, sunlight shining through the thin membrane.

At last, the group managed to tumble into the glade after going through some dense forest. The sun was shining throughout the glade, no blade of grass left uncovered. In the distance, James could hear the trinkling sound of spring water running thinly over pebbles and the whistling of a gentle breeze running through the grass lush from new growth. Dismounting and letting Jet had a rest in the glade, he held Xaria carefully as he let go of the dragon, propelling her into in the air. Xaria darted into the sky, her wings flat against her sides as she shot like an arrow up. Before long, her missile lauch off his hands had started to fade and she was flapping, hard, to keep herself up. You will build muscle, he said to her mentally. Xaria relayed a annoyed emotion back to him and he managed a small smile. Angel was fooling around, trying to snap her jaws playfully at fluttering butterflies.

Riko slowly danced her way through the forest, thinking of her mission to find the dragon egg again. Annoyed, she ended up around town, asking local shops with face graciousness for spare food. She managed half a loaf of bread and two apples from the bakery and grocers. Sitting in the entrance of the old 'Florists' and Bolts' shop, she munched on her breakfast and pwondered about what to do. Lots of different situatios came into her head until suddenly, she felt the prescence of something - somebody. They were giving off strong power vibes and as Riko honed in on them, she felt that she had become acknowledged to it somehow recently. Narrowing her eyes, she looked up to find herself facing the Accossiations door. A guard was painfully shoving her inside, "Your'll be late for the trial; hurry up and sit down." He said in a gruff voice. Riko reluctantly stopped herself from changing and sat down dutifully, watching the empty room scattered with people. A few Reapers had entered, floating around the front of the room. Riko pressed herself againats the wooden seat, hoping they wouldn't sense her in her human form.
