Laurence looked at the blood he'd taken from the neko he had in a cage under the microscope. It looked like his own blood, or any normal human's blood. He wondered, Are they born with their mutations? Or do they get them later on? He stopped and took a bite of his PB&J sandwich. The neko would be hungry too by now, he'd feed it in a minute.
"Okay, I'll get everything ready and start some of the fish to cook." Shun went to the kitchen and found Rune just about to leave. Rune yawned, "I'm going to bed." she said to him, then went to her room and fell asleep. Shun pulled out 2 pans from a cupboard. He put them over the stove and turned the flames on. He pulled some of the trout out, one was a rainbow trout and the other a speckled trout. He put them on the pans after cutting out the fillets. He put a couple different spices and herbs on them and waited for them to cook as the smell of cooking fish filled the house. He knew he'd have to cook more than this to feed everyone, so he hoped Taro would come soon and help him.

Laurence walked out of his lab and grabbed a large can of tuna, he opened it and then opened the room where he kept the neko, he flipped the light switch in the room and walked in, he pushed the can of tune through the bars and smirked at the neko, standing far enough away it couldn't reach him through the bars.

Laurence pulled a clip board from the wall and recorded in his fancy script 1 large can of tuna, x/x/xxxx he made sure he added that he had put some extra vitamins in it, he didn't want his only test subject to get sick. He looked at the neko, waiting for it to eat.

Shun's mouth watered as the smell of cooking fish filled the house. They were almost done and looked delicious. If no one came soon he was going to go ahead and eat one for himself.
