Jay grinned as he hugged her to his chest. He didn't really want to let her go. After all, he hadn't seen her in over a year. "Never mind that," he said to her with a chuckle. "What's happened to you in the time that we've been separated?"

"Hmph. Don't like you much, Kid," Roku muttered as he carefully tended to his minor wounds. They weren't life threatening, just irritating in his opinion.

Ruth wasnt paying attention to him. He was just really distracted

Romaku purred lightly as she was pulled close to him. then stopped. " I-I was living in the woods till I foun Taro" She said lightly

Rune stopped being frozen and laid her ears back against her head, she growled, "Who are you? If you don't know Taro get out or act better." she was surprised with herself for acting so tough, when inside she was scared at the neko, they had really scratched each other up.

Jay gave a slight nod. "So there really is goodness in his heart," he muttered with a light scowl. Even though Taro might have started up this whole place, Jay wasn't too thrilled to know that he was around. It just meant more fighting. "I just hope we can get along alright. Same with him and Roku. He's never really been... the family type I guess."

Rune looked hard at Ruth, "Are you going to see if Taro will let you stay?" she said, asking both of them. With that she turned and went inside to find Taro, she wondered if he had anything to eat. She found Taro, and she asked him, "Taro, is there anything to eat? I'm starving."

Ruth had those googoo eyes. "wow shes gorgeous" he muttered

Taro just gave a slight shrug. "There might be stuff in the fridge, but I'm not sure if it's any good. You're better off eating something out of a can than in any other packaging," he said to her with a light shrug. "I haven't gone food shopping yet. So, make use of what we have already, I guess."

Jay placed a kiss on her forehead. "Aw, you're helping me by just staying in my arms, Romaku," he cooed with a smile. "I longed to have you in my arms again for months. Now, I just don't want to let you go."

Romaku cheeks were a dark burning red. She had a small smile on her face. "Can I at least show you the rest of this place?" She asked her ears twitching every 5 seconds

Shun walked down the stair from his room and as he passed Rune, he said a quick, "Hi Rune." to her. Their eyes met briefly, and Rune's purple eyes sparkled, "Hi brother, read any good books?" she asked, Shun shrugged, "They were okay." and went to sit outside in the cold night air, ignoring the nekos already outside as he laid on his back and stared up at the stars.

Rune nodded, "Okay!" she ran to the kitchen, her brown-golden hair streaming along behind her. She found a couple cans of tuna in the pantry, the expiration date was in 3 months, it was still good. She grabbed 3 of then and then opened them with a handy can opener. She sat at the kitchen table and enjoyed the fishy taste.
