Name: Elijah Severin Everret
Gender: Male
Age: 22
Birthday: December 7th
Hair: Black at medium length and unkempt.
Eye Color: Grey
Height: 5'9
Weight: 137
Description: Elijah stands at average height with a rather athletic figure. His skin pigmentation is paler than average thanks to his vampiric heritage and has a healthy collection of scars due to the risks that come with his job. He also has a few tattoos, namely a tribal design on his left arm and a dragon on his back. When it comes to clothing, Elijah tends to favor darker, longer clothing to hide weapons.
Personality: Elijah takes his job as a bodyguard quite seriously, he will viciously fight off any threat to his scientist and if necessary, give his life in order to ensure their safety. He is very confident in his skills and will not back down from fights. Despite his strict discipline he still manages to keep a friendly and casual relationship with his scientist and the other dhampirs. Elijah is also known to have a deadpan sense of humor and tends to crack a few jokes on occasion. Recently, though he has become slightly more distant and his humor a little more biting than usual.
This change in demeanor can be attributed to disillusionment to his objective. He knows that the vampires were tortured and feels a degree of sympathy towards them. Elijah sometimes wonders if the scientists are worth protecting at all because of their treatment of the vampires and how they were able to consider this humane. Despite this he still feels obligation to protect his scientist not out of duty but because of loyalty. Elijah knows that soon his loyalties to his scientist and his sympathies toward the vampires will clash one day.
Likes: Martial arts, reading, and fried foods.
Dislikes: Hot weather, domestic abusers, and salad.
Fears: That his own indecision will lead to disaster.
Strengths: Elijah is a very capable fighter be it unarmed, with weapons, long range or close range. He is also well versed in free running so he can chase after his quarry if they attempt to retreat. He is also very determined and will not give up easily.
Weaknesses: Elijah while versatile in many different forms of combat can be considered a jack-of-all-trades and a master-of-none. He isn't overly specialized in any style of combat and can be outshone by a master of a skill. Elijah also tends to be rather stubborn and it can be very difficult to persuade on some matters. Though his one true weakness is his sympathies toward the vampires. If they manage to learn of this they may be able to play him right into their hands.
"Subject interview, session one. Subject's name is Elijah Everret. Hello Elijah, how are you?"
"I can't complain. You?""I am fine, thanks. Let's get started with the interview. Tell me about your past, your childhood maybe?"
"I never knew my real mom or dad, so as you can probably guess I was adopted and quite, happily so. My surrogate father was a US marine and my mother was mostly a stay-at-home mom. They desperately wanted a child but my mom was infertile, so they ended up turning to adoption. Out of all the kids inside the hellhole of an orphanage I was in they decided to pick me."Care to describe this orphanage?"
"It was the typical crappy orphanage you find everywhere in fiction. Bullies ran the place, the staff was apathetic or down right abusive, and when a couple of soon-to-be surrogate parents walked in, the staff would spin wild tales about how their little orphanage was heaven on earth. I didn't have to many friends there either, most of them were adopted before me or I left them behind. Anyways, after my parents adopted me I basically lived the life of a normal kid, went to school, made friends, had fun, and made a little trouble on the side. Also, while growing up my dad taught me a lot about fire arms and fighting."I see and what about your more recent years? How did you come to find us or rather how did we come to find you?"
"After graduating high school, I began to become more curious about my original parents and eventually started my own country-wide investigation, supporting myself with whatever odd-jobs I could find. After a few successes here and some dead-ends there my search brought me here to Moonville. At first I didn't believe all the supernatural crap people said about this place thinking that it was just something to bring tourists. I was proven wrong when I found a vampire draining a woman dry one night. If that didn't make me believe what happened next would, one of your men approached me in a coffee shop, claiming to know who and what I was. I wrote the guy off as crazy but after he spilled a few important details about me I decided that maybe he was saner than I had led on. He told me to come to this address and all would be explained. I did as he said and then learned that I was a dhampir when I had arrived. They also told me that I was to protect a certain scientist from escaped vampires. Given little choice, I accepted this and the rest is current events."This concludes our interview Thank you for sharing your past with me and I look forward to have you working with us."
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
"It has been at least half a year since I had first interviewed Elijah. Many have reported that their has been a change in behavior in Elijah. Some rumor that he may feel sympathy towards the vampires. Hello, Elijah, how are you?"
"I'm fine, but I'd like to get this interview over with.""Very well then. Now there are rumors that you have been expressing sympathies for the Vampires lately. Are these rumors true?"
"I would be lying if I said they weren't.""Might I ask why?"
"Recently I had to fight off a vampire who made an attempt on my scientist's life. Later on into the fight the vampire ran away but I pursued and struck a fatal blow. In his last words, the vampire thanked me he viewed death as a sweet release from the hell he had lived. He told me of the things they had done to him and the other vampires in gruesome and vivid details. For nights what this vampire had said haunted me so I decided to see if what he had said was the truth. I entered the building which the vampires were being researched, by the way you should probably bulk up security in there, and I began to investigate. I didn't see too much but I did hear a lot of screaming. After that I began to wonder why I should protect these 'people' who allow this kind of thing to happen. I don't want to hear that it's ok because they're not human, those screams sounded very human to me.""I see, you have not done anything to damaging so you shall not be punished, but you must never disclose what you saw or heard there to anyone else. You will continue to protect your scientist regardless of this. Is that understood?"
"...Yeah.""I'm glad we understand each other then."
Subject feels sympathies towards vampires. Though he has not made any show of defiance towards our organization, he should still be kept under careful scrutiny. If he betrays us we may have no choice but to terminate him.
