Cass didn't know what to say to Delilah she felt sympathetic towards the girl. Cass bit her lip thinking about what she should do or say. "I know that you feel hurt and abandoned and believe me I know how that feels" Cass replied gently, thinking back to when her mother left her at a group home. Cass shook her head trying to ignore that particular part of her childhood before continuing "but you can't bring yourself down okay"Cass murmured gently."You live in a camp where people can make fire shoot out of their hands and create lightning out of thin air" Cass said with a shrug "We're all a little freaky, it's practically a requirement to be a demi-god" she added with a shrug and a small crooked smile. Cass thought for a moment thinking about what else she could do to comfort Delilah "Would it be okay if I gave you a hug" she asked slightly opening her arms albeit awkwardly since Cass wasn't the most openly affectionate person but the thought was still there.

Jack sat outside the Demeter cabin on the porch sitting crisscrossed with a dark blue ball of yarn in his lap and holding his crochet hook busily working on making a hat. His blue and brown eyes were narrowed in concentration as he worked, he would have preferred knitting but crocheting took less time and he wanted to help out those who hadn't been prepared for the sudden snow. Jack had spent many years at camp halfblood and seen many a weird thing but this by far was the weirdest. First there was the sudden snowfall, then the big house getting destroyed and now a quest. Things were shaping up to be a very interesting summer and Jack was determined to help out in any way that he could even if that was just making hats and scarfs.
