Name: Cain II Location: Streets of London II Mood: Disturbed
Well now. That had not been the reaction the Arch-Demon had been expecting at all. He was used to feeding from souls and living off fear and anger, and yet...She displayed none of these. The demon let out an involuntary hiss to show his displeasure. Cain had been in this world a long time, but only come across a few demon hunters here, but they'd been different. When hearing of his past endeavours, they would become angry and attempt to kill him. Of course this would not end up well for them, as the inexperienced don't survive long in a world as hostile as this. But that must've been it. They were all young, fresh new hunters out in the country. Probably didn't get many demons to deal with and thus didn't require as intensive training. Raising a delicate eyebrow, the Arch-Demon eyed this hunter for a second before deducing that yes, she was an experienced fighter. And yes, she could handle herself well. And she was just as he'd thought. A member of the main five families that were experts in their field. Cain had indeed heard of the Eventide family, and he hoped that he'd been mentioned at least once in some of their books and whatnot. He did enjoy causing mischief in the human world. Now- what was it that the Eventide family could do? Scratching his chin thoughtfully, Cain didn't see the fire in the woman's eyes until she saved her expensive looking hat from catching fire, causing the demon to grin widely. So- she controls fire? The day continued to get more interesting as it progressed.
However the name Eventide still burned itself into his memory. Where had he heard that name before?! Growling in frustration, the Arch-Demon continued to grasp through his muddled memories until it hit him. With an unusually loud snap of his gloved fingers, Cain ignored her question about himself, instead addressing her once more. "Eventide!" He exclaimed, before bursting into a fit of side-aching giggles. "You were the ones that controlled the Fawkes two-hundred years ago?!" He exclaimed again, clenching his sides as his body convulsed at the hilarity of the situation. Very abruptly, the laughing stopped and Cain stood up straight the glint of teeth shining through a sadistic smile "Yeah- That was a fun day" He smirked out, before his body was reduced to a few wisps of smoke one more. Letting part of his body materialise, the Cheshire smile hung in the air, quivering slightly as it grew wider and wider, lips splitting as it did, causing black blood droplets to squirm from the open wounds. The wide grin hung in the air for a few moments, before it smoothly glided over to the Eventide woman, bobbing up and down comically. "Well- If you must know, my name is Cain VanderLef" The smile spoke, a voice coming, seemingly out of nowhere. The phantom expression continued to swirl tauntingly round the woman's head, leaving a chilling trail of black air in it's wake.
"I am an Arch-Demon, what are you?"
