If there were infact two bites ( 1987, 1983 ) then this means while one takes place in 1983, with Fredbear as the culprit, now I see alot of people asking WHERE the second one happened, well, let's revert back to 2014, when FNaF 2 came out. This one took place in 1987, something we all seem to have forgotten. This means Fredbear's Family Diner shut down within the span of 5 years in between the bites. Now it's probably safe to assume that it shut down around 1984-1985, with Freddy Fazbear's Pizza opening around 1986. Then after the 5th night on FNaF 2 we hear notice of a Party going on before the place shuts down, the day the second bite happens, with the most likely culprit being Mangle.
Well, this is what I think at least, sorry if it's vague
Yeah, but then why all the "Bite of '87" foreshadowing before the game came out? The only 1983 foreshadow we got was one tiny little source code. Please don't think of me trying to debunk your theory. I'm half wanting to believe it, because it does make sense. Especially when we take into account that Phone Guy says, in the first game, "Uh, they used to be allowed to walk around during the day too. But then there was The Bite of '87." Notice how he mentioned the free-roaming. This piece of evidence alone makes me want to believe that there were two bites.
But then again, we have a lot of evidence pointing towards it truly being the Bite of '87. So I don't know what to believe. I'm just confused, and I remember being completely dumbstruck when it was "revealed". It was so unexpected and made zero sense that I immediately made a theory around it. Yeah, it has a lot of holes, but a lot of it makes sense too.
Anyways, on another note, I, again, realized just how attached I've become to these games. I was listening to videos of all the sounds from the games, and I heard the night 5 phone call from FNaF1, and I remembered the whole internet flipping out about what it could mean and how to decode it. Good times.
I also got the feels when the good ending and bad ending music was played. As well as the music box songs for the various minigames. Makes it feel as if this game is older than it actually is. Weird.
