This month's prompt is:
The weather is starting to change for the winter! Tell us about how your pet is enjoying the change - whether they are waiting for snow in the northern hemisphere or soaking up the sunshine in the southern hemisphere!

Reynard is a long-time lover of writing and literature, and is excited to be the first judge for the CS Writing competition! Reynard got her start roleplaying on the CS boards, where she was made a roleplay moderator before becoming a GM. She is very excited to see your entries and what you think the pets are getting ready to do for the change in seasons!

Ahhhh, I'm super excited for this! I think I already have an idea of what I want to write ^^

I do have one question though, once we submit an entry, are we allowed to edit it anytime we wish, so long as it's before the end date of the competition?

Oh my gooosssshh! I assume we can have multiple pets in our story but one main character? I shine best with dialogue.

To answer both questions quick -

Yes you can edit up until the close date! Also you may include multiple pets, with one main one and then supporting characters :)

question: will pets that are covered up completely by items be allowed? for example; would it be possible for me to write about these doves, or does specifically a pet need to be the main focus?

Yes, it has to be about the pet. You’re still welcome to post the pet while covered in items, but dress ups do not factor into judging.

Two of my side characters are shadow creature items ._. I imagine they are alive and can talk. My main character is a dog pet but his pals are items. Can I not do that?
