ikr, i'm expecting the lion to be some kind of rainbow but the deer is an absolute mystery to me and i'm so impatient waiting for it

maybe the deer will be the rainbow! or both!?

I wanna know the inspiration/ theme the artists chose for each of the B-day event litter!

Possibly based off crystals?, looks super similar to these items

Maybe the deer will be a wire figure in the making, like, half finished?

Also, since the lion is from Saikiyos April Fools litter, maybe it's NOT gonna be rainbow but instead greyscale... or turning into a cat or whatever.

You're right, its a treasure map! When I was doing the lighter markings they looked almost like islands to me and I wanted to add a bit more to it, so I thought it would be cool to make it kind of like a treasure map. I honestly had so much fun with the lineart since I've mostly just done dogs up until now. I really enjoyed doing the mane and playing around with the colours, it was a neat palette to work with!

I missed the day this grew, but I'm a huuuge sucker for draft horses. I'm absolutely in love with this design. Hoping for a low rarity so I can hoard him :')

i don't think anyone tried to guess the species of this guy?
i'm gonna try and say it's the red-spotted purple (Limenitis arthemis)
(even though the BW doesn't seem to have any red bits)

It reminds me more of the pipevine swallowtail (Battus philenor) personally, although considering the red-spotted purple is a mimic it does make sense.

Ever since the caterpillar stage, I've been thinking more along the lines of a Spicebush Swallowtail (Papilio Troilus). For the grown BW, the webbed markings along the wings and the way the white spots extend throughout looks very similar to the Spicebush. However, the orange markings that are seen on the full wings aren't present on the BW. So, I can't be certain. What a conundrum this is. lol
