{ I absolutely ADORE Hymn with my whole heart 😭😭😭 I am holding her gently like croissant. she is everything. perfect little space bug my beloved. another beautiful pet from you, Concept, you never fail to impress [not to mention I am always so so so delighted by your buggy critters] ♡
{ this whole litter has been so fun, the palette feels a little like an 09 throwback and everyone has made such lovely pets with it! I'm excited to see the rest grow ♡

I do not like bugs much because I am scared of them. But OMG Hymn is just ❤️ my favourite so far. I like all of the staff dogs because every single one is special to person who made them.

But I can not help myself Hymn just took my breath away.

Thank you all so much!! This has been my first staff pet so I'm just blown away by the support and how much you all enjoyed her! I meant to have some more ready for her reveal, including a larger story with more pictures, but that fell to the wayside since the last few weeks have been VERY busy XD

Instead, I want to tell you a little about her!

-the story for Hymn is that she's a space alien who came to CS universe Earth after sneaking out of her mothership. She didn't know ANYTHING about Earth, or living on a planet, since she grew up in space! So everything was new for her! For a long time, she was scared that her appearance was going to make people afraid of her; she's a little intimidating, after all! But over time, she started to come out of her shell and be more open about who she was and try to live life to the fullest on Earth.

-When she was a pup, she would hide her claws, but now that she's older, she isn't as afraid of letting them be seen!

-She eats meat but she likes it cooked first, don't worry!

-EVERYTHING fascinates her.

-Her name is Hymn because she's based from a praying mantis! Specifically, an orchid mantis. That was also where several of my clues came from, specifically the "Courage and Persistence, Patience and Perseverance." which are parts of mantis symbolism. They're also uh... part of symbolism from a ton of other animals, so it was a pretty broad clue XDD

-She's not based on me or anything, but she embodies a lot of the things I love deeply and wanted to share. Bugs, space, aliens, the sheer love of life and the joy of learning and experiencing the world out there, even if it can be scary sometimes. After all, just being here and being able to do this is a result of trying something new and scary!

I'm so grateful to everyone who exists here. Thank you again for an amazing year <3

I am speechless. The wave cloak?!?! The tentacle that looks like it comes alive off the tentacle marking. The domino ears O_O I am in awe!

Delja is beautiful, possibly one of my faves this litter. I love how her design flows (heh) into each other part. The wave cloak, the hair, the multi-ears, etc.

But for real, I love her so much! Praying mantis are so cool! I found one on vacation when I was a kid and it walked around on my hand and seemed a little confused. It was just a regular green praying mantis though.
