Could someone help me with the collective worth of these items here?

I’ve heard most items that weren’t extended release are worth an uncommon from their release year, but I don’t know about the eggs.

items are generally worth a common/uncommon from release date. personally I value newer items (2016 onwards) at the lower end, and older items (2015 and earlier) at the higher end, depending on what that item is - for example, speech bubbles have low demand, so will generally always be worth the lower bracket of the c/uc worth, whereas animal eggs are significantly more popular, so will be worth the higher bracket.

the items on your side:

I previously used this conversion chart to convert across rarities/years, though this depends on whether you follow the 2:1 or 4:1 rule. since quantity has its own value, there isn't a strict guide or strict amount of 2017 Summer Event items that a 2011 Horsehair Wig would be worth.

valuing the 2017 items at a common/uncommon ea.

if following 4:1 rule-
2009 R = 4 2009 UC = 16 2011 UC = 64 2013 UC = 256 2015 UC = 1024 2017 UC

if following 2:1 rule-
2009 R = 2 2009 UC = 8 2011 UC = 32 2013 UC = 128 2015 UC = 512 2017 UC

from this conversion this would amount to 500-1000 items, which in my opinion is not an accurate and good depiction of value since, as previously said, quantity has its own value, and some of the items from the 2017 Lost City Event would be worth more a common than an uncommon from release date.

if it's any help, I have had a lot of success with trading 1 MA (6-9 09 Rares) for ~200-300 items from various years, which personally I consider fair due to the bulk involved in the trade. please take this with a pinch of salt, as I do not care for pets, and I am specifically looking for quantity here so was not very concerned with rarity/demand. strictly speaking, rarity-wise these trades would probably not be fair, but since we are discussing quantity, that is the focus here!

the 2017 Lost City Event has ~217 items. the most popular items from that batch are the nautical/marine creatures, which have a pretty high demand and are hoarded/sought after by a lot of players (from what I've seen trading-wise). ultimately, it would depend on how you and your trading partner value the demand of the Horsehair Wig vs the 2017 Lost City items.
if I had to give a personal guesstimate, I would trade my Horsehair Wig for maybe 25-50 2017 Lost City items, depending on what the items were of course. again, take this with a pinch of salt, it's a very rough estimate and depends on what items are traded for the Wig in exchange.

I hope that helps a little? if anyone has any other thoughts, please chime in, but personally I am not 100% sure that it would be very effective to attempt to trade a Horsehair Wig alone for 2017 items. good luck!

I also just thought I’d point out that I am on mobile as I do not currently have access to a pc. For whatever reason, the search function is completely hidden on the mobile site and I have to view the desktop site to even see a search bar, so it’s easy to forget it even exists. I have to go out of my way to even see it’s there.

Edit: Having read this again later I feel like this could come off as rude, it’s not meant to be, it was intended to be a heads up that mobile players can’t actually use the search feature without jumping through a couple hoops and it’s really easy to forget it’s there or even know it exists if you’ve never used the desktop site. 2022 terrarium set - archive/2022/May/Items/store
you could buy the full set at a discounted price of 78 items for 70c$. this included:

- 1x of each glass jar/bowl (7 total)
- 2x of each terrarium marble (8 different marbles, 16 total)
- 1x of each dirt/pebbles (15 total)
- 1x of each terrarium mushroom (3 total)
- 1x of each plant (28 total)
- 1x of each rock/crystal (10 total)
I believe individually the plants were 2c$ ea., marbles 1c$ ea., and I can't quite remember for the other items.

2022 picnic set - archive/2022/September/Items/store
you could buy the full set at a discounted price of 24 items for 60c$. this included 1x of each item.
I believe some of the smaller individual items were priced at 3c$ each, as indicated here when I bought the bee for 3c$.

that said I am unsure of how this would be valued. nature items tend to fetch a slightly higher margin, so the terrarium set may be worth significantly more than the picnic set.

personally I'd put the terrarium set at a low advent (0.5 MA, 3-4 09 Rares). please note I have no evidence to back this up and this is strictly my guesstimate, taking into consideration demand for plant items and the amount of items obtainable with the set.
strictly speaking, the picnic set is worth more as each item is worth ~2.5c$. the terrarium set is worth ~0.9c$ per item. ultimately it would depend on how you and your partner value the items with demand included, since neither sets will ever be rereleased.

I also did not find any trades including these items, so unfortunately there is no strict 'worth' for them as of yet.

on a side note, the May 2021 wigs (5c$ each in store) now have offers of 25c$ per wig, which is a 400% increase in value. though do note that wigs generally have good demand anyway, and I have not noticed as many terrarium/picnic posts on the "seeking items" thread.

I hope this information gives you at least a starting point on where to value the items. discuss it with your partner, see how they value the items, and come to a reasonable value with demand factored into it. it may be useful to others if you post any of your successful/cancelled trades in this thread to indicate trading trends for limited-release items!

edit: if it helps, I just received this trade (which, granted, was mostly for the hammer, but the bee from the picnic set is there too). this may give you a better idea on the valuation of these items!

these items are worth 1 2013 Uncommon ea., so 6-7c$. some users may value nature items slightly higher, so you may be able to get a little more for them depending on who you trade with, but this is the general value.

from experience, this item doesn't have a lot of demand.
the cupid wolf is still listed as a low advent on the cs popular items guide - suffice to say the cupid wolf continues to be worth a low advent.

I found one trade from March 2021 where the cupid wolf was valued at "1 MA?" (here). however this trade remains an outlier in how this item is generally valued, particularly as this user undervalues certain items (such as the red cloth token, which is actually worth .25nons), and overvalues other items (note the malk fairies, which are generally valued at 1 09 R/VR ea.).

I hope that helps! I am merely putting this trade here for full coverage (I found no other trades with this item, which I think attests to it's low demand).
