Question. With demand so high on certain pets, shouldn't the list reflect that? I mean demand influences trades alot. And if there simply is more demand than there is supply, the higher price commonly paid and overall value on the pet should reflect this. I just think the chart doesn't factor demand enough. Or that the opposition to demand is so great as to undervalue some pets. People still state you can buy a advent for 70-80 c$ or a few 09 rares. But almost no one would ask for such a low amount when they can get double, triple, or much much more.

The rare list has been made with demand included. That some people are willingto pay moe for it is their choice. If you look at auctions they sometimes expect 3 tiers higher in return, but that doesn't change what hey really are worth.

Don't forget that fair trades still happen. Yes, some pets go for overpay. There was a time when BA's went almost exclusively for sorbets. But now? From what i've seen, not anymore. We don't want demand to influence trading more then it already does ;3 People reapply demand enough, the list shouldn't reflect that.

I agree, not to also mention that some "demand" are very inconsistent.
Some months/weeks they go for this, then other months they go for something else.
It would make it too much of a mess to update the list constantly when these rises, and decreases
happen all the time. As well as there isn't a stable consistent overpay demand value to
just move something up. For example a joker, yes they can fetch more then it's placement
on the list, but if you do move it, where does it get moved to? sorbet, galaxy, or purple tox line & etc?
You have people offering all different kind of offers. There is no consistency to just randomly
move it up, and as DD said, fair trades still do happen. The list already applies demand,considering
the Joker is technically supposed to be worth less then it's current placement rarity wise.

discussions of last year's URs again^^

So why hasn't the Shima longtail been on the bottom of the advent list? Its traded for consistently more and for many months above the bottom. Even now finding one at a modest price is a challenge. What about the August pps? Despite the drop in the demand, it is still a consistently hard to get and trade for pet. I just feel the list should follow the market at least more closely. Say bi-monthly or monthly if possible. And just as people come to resent overpay, having a pet higher on the list may actually quell demand. As well as giving new players a more real time look at a pets trade value.

It's not just demand that gets pets on the list. The shima and August pets are easy to come by, and not rare enough to be put on the list

The shina longtail simplyisn't rare enough. The demand is high, but many people hoard them. There are a lot of them around.
As fo the august pps lion, it is VR, but als not rare enough.

Please read what i said. Fair trades are still being made for those pets. During the shima hype, i managed to trade fairly for 3 09 shima's and i paid no more then an 09 march rare. I traded one of em off for a low sept and kept the other two.

It takes time but fair trades still happen.


As kitty said, id like to talk bout the urs aswell. I personally see the ur pot with the nanner and cucumber, but all being lowered. The ur dog with the ur cat? And the ur ice cat just above the balloon dogs.
