what does GUPPS mean? I've been seeing the term used a bit since rollover, is it in reference to the cat or dog from the event?

Grown Up PPS -- for when a pet that was PPS gets an adult version 😊 the 2022 dog was a PPS released last New Year's, and it got a grown up version today!

As much as I love old traditions, I love starting new traditions too! I feel an argument could be made either way for keeping with the dogs or moving into something new and neither side is wrong.


Speaking of cats, these little guys give me festive vibes, like they're one last little hoorah for the holiday season. Of course, they may turn out totally different, and that would be okay too, lol

Lots of litters with small-mid size adopt numbers, it'll be interesting to see how that plays out over the month!

Curious! If you voted in the community poll to change to New species lines for the New Years pets what species did you recommend?

I said Malk dragons xD bahaha. But since that was next to impossible I also suggested lions! Cats are pretty close if you ask me.

{hey hey! Happy New Year everyone! Here's to a good 2023 for all of us <3 and how about this! I'm happy to see the traditional dogs passing the baton to cats [at least we assume-- maybe they'll switch yearly like the thread mentioned a million times 👀]! This kitten is just stunning, I can't wait to see the adult next year c:}

For once I'm really happy I got the GUPPS dog.
Not because I didn't miss an outcome, but because I have the whole rainbow in a group and it now starts & ends with a pet I adopted myself. 13 years from the beginning to the end, it is really a bittersweet moment.



My heart was hoping for lions, but this kitty looks fabulous! =)
