your trade rules are very clear! they're a little long but there's no room for misunderstandings. some people might be a little intimidated by their length, so it might be a good idea to pare them down somewhat or try to make the "Trading Guidelines" more visible. the way you have the tiny text quoted makes it stand out a lot, and seeing it at first confused me because i thought those were the rules you'd written down. perhaps put what's most important in the quote so it attracts more attention. the text is also pretty small and difficult for me to read, but that might just be my problem.

all in all, i like what you have! there's just a lot of it and it's a little overwhelming.

your rules are super simple and to the point, easy to understand and I would'nt be afraid to send a suggestion! The images you have included are very inviting! The one thing that throws me off is the formatting of the text how some things are centered and some aren't, it makes it a little harder to read and flow through the text.

They look alright to me, though I'm pretty new here! The only things I would change are adding larger titles to help differentiate the sections a bit more. I don't personally think codewords are that useful, because someone can easily just scan for the word and ignore the rest, or accidentally miss the word, but I wouldn't say it's a bad thing to use one! That's just my opinion.

I'm very new here and would love someone with more experience to look over my trade rules! I've done my best to follow some general guidelines, but outside views are always helpful. :)

They look alright to me, they’re simple, easy to read, and don’t seem hard to follow.

I’m also fairly new sort of. Don’t be fooled by the account creation date, I took a five year hiatus, forgot everything about this place (including its existence lol), and had to relearn.

I’ve never asked for an opinion on my rules before. I feel like they’re too wordy and there’s too much information, but I also feel like it’s all relevant. They used to be even longer. Today I went through and reworded things, shortened others, and bolded my only actual rules, which are admittedly still more like guidelines. I’m unsure where else I can improve besides removing more stuff.

I’m wondering if they’re as bad as I think they are or if I just think that because I wrote them.

edit: to the above user - i think your trade rules are fairly solid, though a bit hard for me to process, but that's a me/formatting issue and not a you issue. i like the separate rules for pet and item trades, i think it makes things a lot clearer. i feel the title of the dreamie section is a bit confusing though, since you go on to list whole groups of pets - perhaps something like "collections" or "looking for" might be clearer?

They're great! Very clear but not too complex. There's a few images, but like, they make sense and are helpful. formatted well and easy to understand. The only thing I have to say is maybe move the text below the graphs to the top because they're not as visible.

Will somebody peek at my rules? I'm worried they're a little pic heavy.

Hello! I’m not sure if they’ve been edited since your post as this thread is pretty slow moving, but I wouldn’t say your rules are pic heavy at all; having a couple images of your dreamies at the top is fine imo and helps people looking to trade see what you’re most interested in trading for (same goes for the list at the bottom).

As for the rest, the rules are short and sweet and provide a good guideline of what you are and aren’t looking for when it comes to trades. I also appreciate the clarification on the wishlist as I understand a lot of people will use it to recognise rare+ pets in the pound and aren’t necessarily that interested in every pet on it! The chart at the bottom is good addition as well. Overall; solid set of rules, nothing I thought was unnecessary or confusing and the layout makes it easily understandable.

Neisha - Overall everything looks fine and is easily readable. I can suggest putting the current seeking and the goal of all B-wolves together under the guild lines though. This way first they know what's expected of them before they are told what is the best to offer in the trade. All in one place.

If you want to try to make it a quicker, easier read you can possibly change

How's mine look. Debating if the separation of pet and item is needed. If the trade group bit is redundant. but mostly if the high interest bit is understandable. but all insight is appreciated.

Even though your trade rules are straight to to point, there's some key things that are missing, which can disencourage people who are trying to trade you. What key things? Unanswered questions in relation to trading. I'll mention the ones that come to mind:

1. Do people have to leave a message?
2. Are suggestion trades okay?
3. Do you accept cs for your pets and items, or vice versa?
4. Does wl matter or does it have a different purpose? (For pound, art payments, etc etc.. )
5. Do you cross trade with other games? (This one does not have to be added if you don't, but if you do you can state that in your rules!)
6. Are any of the pets in your WL hoard pets?

As there's people who have trouble communicating, too shy or because of other reasons, they might not trade you if they have to directly ask you those questions!
Other than that, I think the only thing is that maybe your trade rules need a little spice and character. Play around with the coding and images ^^
