Ack - I'm feeling super down because I was ill at the beginning of the month and I just realized that I missed all the April Fools pets and items ;o;

Some have figured it out but they are indeed birthstones! ; for ease of access

Garnet [January]/Amethyst[February]/Aquamarine[March]/ White Topaz/Diamond[April]


Emerald [May], Alexandrite [June], Ruby [july], Peridot [August]


Sapphire [September], Tourmaline [October], Citrine [November], Blue topaz [December]

They are birthstones? I didn't realise! I thought there were twelve foxes, because it was Chicken Smoothie's 12th birthday.

So ... it's Tourmaline for October ... not Opal. That is disappointing. I really, really don't like pink Tourmaline, but loooove Opal. Maybe I'll collect the March or December foxes and pretend they're Opal.

Bit confused about December though, there's three different stones for December and *none* of them are Topaz (that's November, along with Citrine). December is Zircon, Tanzanite and Turquoise (all shades of blue tho).

Birthstones are very funny, because nobody uses the exact same for each month. You can actually find many pages about blue topaz being the birth stone for December and/or Sagittarius.
