Staff Litter Discussion 2018

I'm going to throw out a hunch and guess this one is perhaps Raire's.

Looking at their past two pets, a trend is shown where the second stages often have much more simpler patterns than their final designs. For example, look back at Raire's previous staff dog. It has no edits visible on its pup lines, however once grown it shows a massive amount of detail and edited lines.
Because Raire has confirmed their pup to be a symbol of trans pride, the colours and the way they are positioned remind me of the trans flag. The small question mark on its flank could also be a hint to its final stage, perhaps some kind of future flag design its adult form will have?

Edit: This pup also doesn't have green eyes, just like Raire said it wouldn't.

Just so everyone has a fair shot, on the discord, I stated the following:

If you guys are able to guess my pup today, with substantial reason why, I'll release a picture of Schnell. ^^

So, if you're up for a guessing game, take a shot! I'll check back in a bit later today to see how everything goes. It would appear that my section of the hint chart is about 85-90% up to date, but the remaining "hints" won't help much at this stage. Good luck! Schnell is counting on you.

im leaning towards this baby.
1) muted eyes that seem like theyre kind of blue
2) no brown nose
3) has brown markings
4) half flopped ears
5) they have the circle on the side prepped for the flash symbol lol

I haven't been following the hints too closely BUUUUT

Very nice, buuuut I have some inputs here

1) The name is confirmed to be Sirena and is not a 'might' anymore
2) The diet thing has nothing to do with the pup having edited chubby lines.
3) The hint to Eirik is not about involving water
4) The music notes around Percy is not the correct hint, nor is it about his fur being rainbow colored.
5) It being' heavenly' does not have to do with my pets theme being 'bright colors'

1. Sirena might be not for mermaid but for siren. Harpy-like singing creatures that also lured ships to crashes
2. Some stories spoke of the flesh of the victims of the shipwrecks to be rotting, not eated by the sirens. Might be also that the siren pup is avoiding luring in people's ship, so they don't get hurt but they doesn't get food either.
3. Eirik's got no dress-up though, he's got me stumped. But the fish caught my attention, he looks like an island and well, siren's were though to live far into the ocean. But the hint is not about water so I'm not sure anymore.
4. Plus, Ciervo's dress-up involves some candy, yes? Like this pup! Also, Ciervos's name is deer (in plural) in spanish, however he's a little more than that, isn't he? He's got tiny wings too! Percy does too, it's a white-colored desing in his back.
5. Heavenly, makes me think of clouds and the sky. Perhaps and angel, and sirens were thought to be half bird, not fish.

Makes think it's this one!!

but I think I'll go check out all the hints k: hopefully no one has claimed this pup yet

i see your points, but i still think that pup is swift's because of multiple things, but most of all i think it's theirs because of the image in their trade rules that looks suspiciously like the cloud design on the pup

I'm back to messing with another couple of staff pets, mainly because I have nothing else to do besides sit around or sleep. Now, this time I'm going to try and guess Schuyler's pup; or at least narrow down the list. I'll just list the suspicions I have down below and explain the reasoning behind each.



> For one, the eyes are not a primary color. The pup also ended up gaining something when it grew up into an adult; a nice dagger. I wasn't sure if the hint was referring to when the pup came out of the blanket or if it was referring to when the pup turned into a nice big guy. Nonetheless, I feel like this guy is a good candidate.


> This pup ended up getting a very light necklace after reaching puphood, which is something that goes beyond markings. My only issue with this pup is that the eyes are a very blood red, making them a primary color.


> Of course, the bubblegum isn't a marking on this pup. When it comes to this extra gain besides markings, I instantly think of items or things that happen to go beyond line edits; something that clearly isn't supposed to be on the puppy from them switching from one stage to another, if that makes sense. Anyways, this pup also doesn't have primary colored eyes, I don't think? I'm not sure what teal is classified as.


> The cutest sock pup around has been placed up onto my personal elimination board. Of course, the pup has the socks on its little feet and they have brown eyes, which would eliminate them from the primary color gang.


> Personally, another cute pup. I don't know what the eye color is, which is almost a red flag for me since a question about eye color was answered. Besides, it doesn't seem like there would be any mislead about the eyes to me? It just feels off. Anyways, the pup has little bubbly-spots behind it, which isn't a marking? I'm not sure what to consider them, honestly.

Now, eliminating the primary colored eyes pup and the pup with closed eyes, that leaves us with three choices. I'm also going to take out the bubblegum pup, because I don't feel like that pup matches Schuyler's style too closely. Now, the two pups we have left are the dagger pup and the sock pup. I'm going to lean more towards the dagger pup, as for the previous staff litters Schuyler tends to have adults with upright ears. So, I'm going to lock the dagger one in for my choice.

There's enough info out there about my pup for you all to make some pretty good guesses, if you post 5 pups with some good reasons I'll deny one!
