War.
What do you think of it? Do you think you'd fight if it was needed, or do you reckon you'd go bush? Is there anything war-related that's really struck/touched/moved you? Have you been to any war sites? Experienced any war-y stuff? Know anyone in an army? Know anyone who lived during WWII? What about have you ever drawn/written/seen anything war/battlefield-ish? Any important wars in your history that you care about, personally or not?
Sorry, this is quite long haha; I'm just really interested in wars right now ;p
"We knew the world would not be the same. A few people... laughed, a few people cried, most people were silent. I remembered the line from the Hindu scripture, the Bhagavad Gita... Vishnu was trying to persuade the Prince that... he should do his duty, and to impress him, takes on his multi-armed form, and says, 'Now I am become Death, the Destroyer of Worlds'. I suppose we all thought that, one way or another." - Robert J. Oppenheimer
My opinion and experience with war is jaded. Too often - especially in more recent times - I see senselessness in it. The waste of human life, in battles waged by men who sit safe in guarded buildings. Yes, sometimes there are battles that are necessary, for the well-being of the innocent, but all too often, they're killed, too, either purposefully or in crossfire. It's hard to believe in war - or, anything, really - when there's so much unnecessary loss.
The only good thing about it are the advances made in science and technology... which are all too often misused to destroy more lives in the immediate aftermath of the discoveries. Hence my quote from Oppenheimer, credited as the father of the atomic bomb.
I'm very much of the opinion that, when the rich and powerful wage war, it's the poor and unfortunate who suffer the consequences.
For those that know my characters... I have a few that deal with war. I guess it's one way for me to reconcile my thoughts on it and find a balance, especially with my two brothers, my father, my grandfather, my great-grandfather
and my great-grandmother having been involved with some form of military, and all but two of them having experienced the battlefield.

What's your favorite color, and why?
Gunmetal. It's a lovely drab color.

I've always wondered how it must feel for the staff when their reading all of our silly speculations in the discussion threads!
It's only frustrating to me when clear and wild mistakes are being made in interpretation. For example, Lir's child stage had a waddle on his neck, which is simple goat anatomy... but too many people saw it as a lineart mistake or a letter. e-e;
