You know I just thought I remembered something from many years back that I don't think has been mentioned. I think the very first easter celebration on CS, there were bunnies available through the banners. Someone will have to verify that though; it was a long time ago and I might be remembering wrong!

The banner cool down was 12 hours if I remember or at least 6 hours or 4 hours. I can't remember if it started 12 then got reduced as time went on or I remember incorrectly. There were also items too that came through the banner other than tokens.

Edit: Now that I looked at the other posts, I see that I do remember the 12 hour limit. Though I did not know about the certain page thing. I just figured it was random. You either got a token, an animal egg, or a bunny, then had to wait forever for the next one. I do remember the thing about logging into people's accounts, but I didn't fall for it because I figured it was a scam.

I had a secret Santa user last year who wanted true date 2009 Easter Buns more than anything else. I must have clicked more than 300 profiles. I did end up getting 2 bunnies! So all that to say, you have a one of a kind group and I see a lot of them were self adopted truly remarkable. You are a shining unicorn among us!

EDIT: I also keep the first pet QuQ it's why I have so many of my self adopted pets even today! Also weirdly protective of my pixels.

Thank you. It is probably unique because I am stingy. Ever since I joined I got this idea once I get a pet, I keep it. It may be in any group, but I keep it. The 2nd, 3rd + I may trade away, but I keep that first one.

Yes, and the sunjewel bun had originally had an error message (some called it the error pet/error bun) until it was fixed.

Okay now that I read through the thread linked I see I did indeed remember correctly. They started with 12 hours between banners, then 6, then 4. Lots of people were upset at the 12 hour count, claiming getting them all would be impossible. The time between banners got reduced to help make it easier to get the bunnies, the bunny ear items, animal eggs, and an egg item set.

I was not fortunate enough to get the sunjewel bunny so I didn't see the error. I did however keep getting the red butterfly bunny and had to trade the extras away to broaden my collection. They also fetched pretty good trade value back then. I got the orange cerberus and skelebun by trading a couple extras.

I also remember being very frustrated not getting the light brown bunny with blue wings, which became known as the unreleased butterbun. I was so disappointed I couldn't snag it, but I see when rarities got released it was no wonder. It seemed to be the rarest of the set.

Whoa the fake banner dog from Halloween was the most surprising thing to learn! I can't believe someone did that! But as a small note, it happened in 2021, not 2022: Forum/viewtopic.php?f=108&t=4637283&start=480#p136170448
Do you have any more information about that? Like, who made it, who first posted it, what was done about it, was the creator banned? Like what happened? How long did the craze and confusion last before mods said it was a fake? Does anyone have any links to archived posts/threads about it before mods removed them, such as the outcomes thread? How was the dog made? Are we certain of the motive? I'd love to learn more.
Btw, I've archived the earliest undeleted mentions I've seen about the dog, on page 49 and 50 (49, 50) of that discussion thread.

not sure if it has been mentioned before but you used to be able to look at pound pets by going to the pound account and clicking on their pets tab. you could then go back to the last page of the unsorted group and look at all the old/Rare/VR pets that would be in the next pound release.

wait, you can't search through the pound's pet group anymore? i used to spend hours flipping through their groups and daydreaming about getting list pets from the pound lol

You can still search through the pets going to be in the pounds next opening once there’s a countdown but you actually used to be able to see all the pets on the pound account, not just the ones about to be released.
