Pound lag getting worse?

Okay. Yah it’s so bad. I know it’s an event but. 10 second lag refreshing the page. 6 second lag after I click on the pet (which means I’m not getting the pet). Another 6 second lag refreshing the page because when I return all of the pets on my initial page are gone (I still have to wait 9 seconds to refresh for new pets too). … all I went for is a rat too not even a rare one. 😭

how were pets already taken before it even loaded ;o; it's just a lil awkward to refresh to a bunch of pets not being there :,3 I feel like maybe less pets per page and slower trickle out time? maybe? I was there right as it opened and I still had pets gone!

I literally just went for a random monthly from like 22 on my WL and I lagged so badly. For not even a rare or old pet. I’m so flippin sick of the lag like it’s not as bad as at rollover but dang this is ridiculous

maybe i was just quick to click the first thing i saw but i didn't have any lag with this opening despite being there right at opening ? even refreshing before it opened i wasn't getting any lag, so it's interesting to see ppl r saying they did have it this time around

Absolutely getting worse, it's ridiculous. I'm sure Easter Event isn't helping but even RIGHT AFTER the update the lag was notably worse, and everything was IMMEDIATELY taken. Even if you refresh and are already clicking on the "adopt" spot when it refreshes, it's taken.

I've been taking to screen recording the pounds because it's so frustrating and my lag was exactly ten seconds on the first page.

I prefer the old pound mechanics to whatever this is, and staff desperately needs to listen when people say to raise the adoption number from 1500 especially since there's more than 800k pets in the Pound last check.

Got a new issue today:
Loading into a page with pets already marked as taken despite refreshing consistently at 3-2-1. I keep an eye on the reload button to know if the page is actually catching and loading, and it was, but for whatever reason didn't load at the same speed it normally does and lead to a page full of already taken with a countdown to refresh at max time, which meant I missed the delayed drop chance entirely while waiting for the timer.

Asking totally "for a friend", how do you disable loading images?
