I'm from Germany and I've been dreaming of visiting Australia for a really long time. I hope I'll be able to travel there at least once in my life. But I don't want to see the very popular sights (like Ayers Rock) only, but also some special things that not many people know about. Do you have any tips and know beautiful places in Australia? That would be great c:
I know I'm probably gonna be very biased towards WA (since I'm from here), but Perth is quite underrated and there are some very beautiful places here like our beaches or the pinnacles or even the Gloucester Tree down south which I have climbed 833
So, don't always go to the popular places ;3 hheehehehe
I honestly have to agree with Percy here. I live in Victoria. I lived in Melbourne for four years but moved back. Which I'm glad of. We hardly saw anyone when we lived in Melbourne. Half of my family live in a rural farming town three hours north of Perth. I absolutely LOVE the trip there. There is an amazing bakery at Bindoon that you should get to if you're over there. Perth is kind of like a stripped down city. Still with that city look and feel, but the air is fresher and kind of... I don't know... More natural somehow. The feel is warmer, too. WA has this magical untamed kind of feel with its flat red plains. Also you should see f you can get to Dampeir where the story of Red Dog is unfolded, and his statue stands. Also if you're not afraid of heights, go visit the Gloucsester tree in Gloucsester National Park. Its the tallest fire lookout tree I think, and you can climb to the top. I did when I was seven
