To get started on here... Firstly I recommend you to adopt everything that's available even if you don't like the pets, because you might be able to trade it for something that you do like. :D
Also check Objects and Scenery and Accessories in the Store, because there's some free items up for grabs. ^^

I wasn't introduced to CS, I happened to stumble across it one day a few years back while surfing the web.
Hopefully your friend can show you the ropes of the game. As the strawberry names said, just PM them if you have a question. (Their names taste nice. 8D)
Surf the forums and see what CS's about.
I don't care if you're a newb or not, you're still a person. :P
