I made
this document to split it into the separate segments I'm seeing.
Reg VR is just the term Horror uses for not tiered VRs as shown
here. The 3 R to VR + small add is only for that T8 Line 4 so it's only applicable to those pets, typically 2009 or 2010 pets, so the '22 example doesn't apply.
I'm happy to post this trade in the fair trade thread to get some other opinions as well, but I totally understand if this is just becoming a bit too much of a headache and you'd rather forget about it.
If you agree with the first "segment" I'm seeing of your dog for my 2 VRs, I'd be happy to trade just that, knock out the more complex/confusing bit of your cat for my side
I thought you had been offering only 4x Pets this whole time, my bad for misunderstanding. In our chats you said..
CONTEXT
Bellarocks123a (From the trade we have) wrote:From Horror's guide, it looks like your side is worth 2 '08-'11 VRs for the dog and 1 regular OR VR plus a small add for the cat. On my side the ragdoll and dog should cover the 2 '08-'11 VRs, and I'd be happy to do one of the store pets as the 1 regular OR VR plus the re-release rare as the small add. If my value math is wrong please let me know!
Bellarocks123a (From earlier DMs wrote:The ragdoll on my side is just a regular '10 VR, no tier, so that's one of the 2 from the dog worth
The dog on my side is also a regular '10 VR no tier, so that's the second to be worth the Dog
Store pets:
Forum/viewtopic.php?f=20&t=4899188#p142982071
2022-2023 is 1 OR, and since all these stores are VRs it's a VR OR
So one store plus the rare cat would be worth the cat on your side
Bellarocks123a (From earlier in our DMs) wrote:From horrors page, the dog would be T7 "Line 5: 4-5 Old Rares === 2 08-'11 Very Rares == ~0.5 MA or slightly under", which I'm using the " 2 08-'11 Very Rares" in my calculation since the ragdoll and re-release dog are both '10 VRs, making it exactly that 2 VR worth.
The cat would be T8 "Line 4: == 3 Old Rares === Regular VR + small add", which I was counting a single store pet as the "regular VR" since its a VR outcome, and the small add as the rare cat on my side.
It sounds like part of the disconnect is the store value, which I believe you're saying you value as just an old rare, not a "regular VR". Even then, it would just be 2 store pets to even out though, not 8.
Explaining what defines "Old Rare"
Horror's Guide Says wrote:" T8 Line 4: == 3 Old Rares === Regular VR + small add "
Refers to:
Horror specify's Old Rare = A basic Rare from 2010/2011"Old" refers to the Years '10-'11. Not '08-'11 Years.
EXAMPLES:
Horror Specifys (RR values):
T8: All Lines: "Old Rares" = '10-'11 Years
T7: Line 5: "4-5x Old Rares ('10-'11) === 2x 08-'11 Very Rares " = ( 2x Rs = 1x VR ) but varies if '08-'09 Years are in the trade with '10-'11 Years, which is why it might take 4-5x Old Rares ('10-'11) to = 2x VRs (if the VRs are '08-'09)
T6: "Old Rares" = '10-'11 Years
T5: Line 8: " 5x Old Rares == 2x '08-'09 VRs == (~150C$)" This line shows that 5x Old Rares ('10-'11) = 2x '08-'09 VRs specifically.
Horror's section on Trading Between Years sort of touches on this idea that newer years + adds = older yearsSo with that now explained:
Horror's Guide Says wrote:" T8 Line 4: == 3 Old Rares === Regular VR + small add "
Actually looks like this:
T8 Line 4: == 3x '10-'11 Rares === ( 1x โ10-โ11 REG VR + Small Add )

NOTE:
As Horror's guide stats: " Unless โญ notably high demand (+) โญ, assume it's just worth 2 same-age rares "None of your '10 Non-Store Pets are of notably High Demand.
The years you stated are a bit off since we know Old Rares = '10-'11
My '22 VR example was in reference to you saying:
(I will explain Store Pet Values later on since you are a bit off here)
Bellarocks123a (From earlier in our DMs) wrote:The cat would be T8 "Line 4: == 3 Old Rares === Regular VR + small add", which I was counting a single store pet as the "regular VR" since its a VR outcome, and the small add as the rare cat on my side.
So this can look like:
( REG Same-Year VR + Samll Add ) = 3x Same-Year Rares
For a '22 VR Pet this looks like:
EXAMPLE:
1x '22 R = 8C$
1x '22 VR = 18C$ (This VR is a rat pet, I will just say it is 20C$ for a better Demand pet.)
Using the equation from before ( REG Same-Year VR + Samll Add ) = 3x Same-Year Rares:
(1x '22 VR + Small Add) = 3x '22 Rares
3x '22 Rs = 24C$ (8C$ x 3)
(1x '22 VR [18C$-20C$] + Small Add)== 3x '22 Rs [8C$ x 3]
Which really looks like:
20C$ + Small Add == 24C$
3x '22 Rares = 24C$ is a greater value than the 1x "REG" '22 VR @ (fake: 20C$)/(real: 18C$), and that is why a small add on the VR side is needed.
Also, a โ22 VR Store Pet does not = a โ08-โ11 VR.
A โ22 Store Pet does not differ between R-VR tags of other '22 Store Pets.
Horror does NOT specify between R-VR Store Pets, only makes a note of higher demand pets in the sets, usually the Set Exclusives. The reason some Same-Year Store Pets may vary in MA worth or C$ worth is due to the demand on the Pets design or if it happens to be the Set Exclusive. Not the tag attached to it.
EXAMPLE:
" All store pets grow in value, rare and VR store pets are worth the same but I guess people prefer the store pets being VR rather than rare. Because if we are really talking about the VR and ER it would not make sense in 1MA store pets since some ER store pets are still .5MA while there are some VR store pets that are 1MA like the PPS griffon or the PPS lions when they are VR themselves. "
A โ22 Store Pet C$ Value by Horror's Guide: 35C$-45C$ A โ22 Store Pet AT BEST for 45c$ each does not buy 2x '10-'11 Old Rares AT WORST for 25c$ each.
That is why I asked for 8x '22-'23 Store Pets + Adds because my side has Older Pets, better Demand, List Pets, and True Date.
8x '22-'23 Store Pets = 8x '10-'11 Rares
2x '10 VRs = 4x '10-'11 Rares
1x '10 RR Rare= 1x '10 Rare
== 1.3 MAs = 13x '10-'11 Rares
