1. What date did you register as a CS member?: Wed Jul 29, 2009 1:39 pm

2. How many posts have you made in the forum (at the time of applying): 1474

3. How many days a week do you usually visit CS? 7 days

4. How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit? 3 or more

5. Have you moderated on any other forums before? If so, please link to them. No

6. Have you ever used the CS oekaki to draw? Ohhh yes

7. Do you ever spend much time browsing the oekaki board just to look at the art posted there? Yes

8. Now the important question: Why do you want to be an oekaki moderator for CS? I have always wanted to be a oekaki moderater. I love helping people and looking at peoples posts and drawings in the Oekaki board. I am completeley against art theft and plagarism and I think that having the job would help CS a lot. I also want to be a bigger part of the site and help any new member with Oekaki or stop any member from breaking rules.

9. Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position (this is not required) (for example have you had any experience in peer mediation?) I can keep my cool in cyberfights (cyberbulling etc.) and I am usually good in settling fights. I don't know what peer mediation is but I don't think so.

Can't wait to see if I got the job! And good job to anyone who does! Thank you :)

What Date did you join CS?: 5/14/10
How many forum posts have you made?: Counting this post, 1189
How many days are you on CS? 7
How many hours are you on, on a usual day?: at the moment, I'm on 2-3+ hours on Thursday, Friday, Sunday and Monday, but in a couple weeks I'll have 3-4 hours on Tuesday, but I won't have 2-3 hours on Friday and Thursday anymore, I'll only have half hour-an hour on other days. Not sure if that qualifies me going on enough to be eligible :/
Have moderated any fourms before? Sometimes I mini mod the fair trade thread and the how much is this pet worth, but other than that, no
Do you ever use the CS Oekaki to draw? A few times, but I fail at drawing so not much
Do you ever spend time browsing the Oekaki board to look at the art posted there?: Yeah, sometimes
Now the important question: why do you wanna be an Oekaki mod for CS? I see art theft a lot, as it is becoming more common, and it needs to be stopped. I know how to deal with this stuff calmly, not blaming any side or another, and I also have a great eye for art, meaning I can spot art theft pretty darn good ;). I also would be good at approving COPPAs first posts, as I know what's spam and what's not. I also think I could warn and ban members while not losing my cool, even when they are yelling at me.
Can you think of any skills you bring to the position? I have a great eye for art theft, and I mini mod a lot.
Thank you for this opportunity.

What date did you register as a CS member?: I registered on Sunday August 02, 2009 8:08 am

How many posts have you made in the forum (at the time of applying): 3668

How many days a week do you usually visit CS? I usually visit CS seven days a week, with the exeption of holidays and the odd day when I’d be away for the whole day which is not often.

How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit? I usually spend an hour to two hours and sometimes even more, though when there isn’t much for me to do, or when I have other urgent things to do, I’d only spend half an hour to do everything necessary. I haven’t felt the need to go on for two-three hours a day, but as a moderator that would change.

Have you moderated on any other forums before? If so, please link to them: No, I have not. I have looked after certain threads here on Cs, but not really a forum.

Have you ever used the CS oekaki to draw? Yes, I have done drawings (and will be doing more) , though they might not be the best, they are there. After those I hadn’t felt the need to draw more and went on a break from Oekaki to continue with my traditional art (Watercolour, sketching etc) but recently coloured in a lineart and started to learn more about the program, and found it very interesting and fun to do. I do have GIMP though, and a digital pen which I received recently, and have been learning more and more about digital art. Even though I'm not the greatest at digital art, I love it to bits, and love to learn new things about it. I am a skilled artist though, and know the rights and wrongs in the art world, and would be able to solve a problem in that region, and would be able to help young aspiring artists too.

Do you ever spend much time browsing the oekaki board just to look at the art posted there? Most definitely! I thoroughly enjoy browsing the Oekaki board to gaze at all the magnificent pieces of art, and to feel the longing to draw like those artists do. I’m always ready with some handy crits and comments and enjoying looking at the art and taking part in that part of CS, even though I might not draw digitally that much.

Now the important question: Why do you want to be an oekaki moderator for CS? First of all, it’s been a huge dream of mine to have an important role in the CS society, and would be overjoyed to have this job. I’d love to help the community grow, and to be useful and handy towards its members. I enjoy helping people, and achieving my goals, and find that people like to be around me, as do I. I'm a very mature person, and would only solve any and all problems in the calmest matter and in a reasonable way. I’d do the best I possibly can for CS, and would be overly happy to think that people would rely on me for help and to play the important role in the CS community.

Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position? Yes, it might not be the most important or the most coveted skill, but I’m very hardworking and would never ‘slack’ with my job. I’, always willing to help, and wouldn’t mind going the extra mile for a person. I believe I’m a very ‘insightful’ person and would know how a certain person would feel in a certain situation, meaning I’d be able to help them best. I have helped people in my life, and many can rely on me for information, help or even a shoulder to cry on. My friends and loves ones can always count on me, and I know I can always count on them.
In short, I think I’d be a very good Oekaki Moderator, possibly not the best since we've had the most amazing moderators before, but I'd try my absolute hardest and always aim to please!

2248
How many days a week do you usually visit CS?
Seven
How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit?
Weekends, most of the day. School days [starting next week] from like five PM to nine PM.
Have you moderated on any other forums before? If so, please link to them
Does my own count? X3 Is it supposed to be on CS? Or another site, if CS I mod my thread.
D.o.V.
Have you ever used the CS oekaki to draw?
All the time. : D
Do you ever spend much time browsing the oekaki board just to look at the art posted there?
Also all the time.
Now the important question: Why do you want to be an oekaki moderator for CS?
I draw on Oekaki multiple times every day, it's so much fun for me. I also love to look at the amazing art that artists make here. I love Chicken Smoothie and helping out. CS is very important to me and so is art, being an Oekaki Moderator would be really amazing.
Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position (this is not required) (for example have you had any experience in peer mediation?)
I do try to solve issues my friends have when they arise. I've been asked for help in a situation before. I really feel that I've never had an argument with a member on the forums, I always answer calmly.

What date did you register as a CS member?: Tuesday, March 24th, 2009

How many posts have you made in the forum (at the time of applying): (if it's less than 300, do not apply) 2609

How many days a week do you usually visit CS? Every day, unless I am away, or have no connection to the internet, which almost never happen.

How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit? Right now, I'm guessing I spend around 4-5 hours, though more on weekends, perhaps 6-8 hours.

Have you moderated on any other forums before? If so, please link to them No, sorry.

Have you ever used the CS oekaki to draw? I have, as a beginner. And when I color editables. At home, I don't have a tablet to draw with, so I use a laptop. But in November, quite possibly earlier, I am getting a tablet, then I will use the Oekaki forms much more frequently.

Do you ever spend much time browsing the oekaki board just to look at the art posted there? Yes. I love looking at all of the art done by Chicken Smoothie users, and the CS staffs' oekaki pictures blow my mind.

Now the important question: Why do you want to be an oekaki moderator for CS? I would like to be an oekaki moderator for CS because this would be a great experience, and I already know quite a bit about the oekaki board, courtesy of looking at posts on the oekaki forum. I really enjoy helping people, and guiding them on their way, no matter how simple the solution might be. Plus I am on Chicken Smoothie all the time, and it would be great to go that step further, to help lots of CS users, purely for the sake of helping people.

Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position (this is not required) (for example have you had any experience in peer mediation?) Yes, I have had experience in peer mediation, and I am a calm person. I would definitely be able to stay patient, even with the strongest of ranters.

1. What date did you register as a CS member?: Tue Oct 06, 2009 5:47 pm. Although, the was a period where I went a few months without coming on.

2. How many posts have you made in the forum (at the time of applying): 2460

3. How many days a week do you usually visit CS?: I try to be on every day unless something comes up.

4. How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit?: Oh, I don't know, normaly almost all day, but it varies.

5. Have you moderated on any other forums before? If so, please link to them: http://sydneecitee.forumotion.com/ I was the admin of that forum, which has recently died. (Okay, not very recently...) Everyone that had an account on there and frequently visited became very close internet friends.

6. Have you ever used the CS oekaki to draw?: Well, I've colored in. I personally think I'm horrible at drawing, but some of my friends completely disagree.

7. Do you ever spend much time browsing the oekaki board just to look at the art posted there?: Not very often, but sometimes.

8. Now the important question: Why do you want to be an oekaki moderator for CS?: I think it would be a very fun job. I don't mind if people are rude to me, because I was a mediator in my elementary school, so I have a bit of real life experience. I also have owned my own website, and I was prepared to deal with rude users there. I can take situations calmly, as I'm a minimod on an active roleplay, and have many roleplays of my own. I have also dealt with rude users during trading. I think art theft is very hurtful and think it would be very cool to fight against it. I have also used the 'Report' button a few times in the past. Knowing that it's there helped me personally, and being one of the people that would have the ability to fix problems on the Oekaki boards and help others feel more comfortable would feel great. I think I'd be able to look over the posts of COPPA'd users and decide what's okay and what's not. I know this isn't very impressive, but I hope you can see what I mean.

9. Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position?: Yes. In my elementary school career, I was a student mediator, and was voted to be one by my classmates in fourth grade. It felt so wonderful, and afterwards, I thought it was really cool to have the younger kids look to me for help. It felt great to know I was a leader and role model for the other kids in my grade. I did goof around a bit, but when I was working, 'okay, I need to be serious now and help all these kids' was the only thing running through my brain.

I hope this is enough to let you even consider me for the job. There are so many great applications here, and I'd like to applause them all... And wish good luck to all of you! May the best future Oekaki Mod win. ;)
