The most- and least- wished for pets on CS (sixth edition)

No top 20 wish listed pests from 2010 are in the top 20 today!

#5 in 2015, the UR Bwolf is not in the top 20 now.


The Jan 2009 White Front Rainbow Stripe Dog had more wish lists in 2015 than the #1 pet now.

Amazing how low the numbers are now compared to 2015. About half to a third.

The Plains Zebra was #1 in 2010. Then in 2015 it had 3x more wishes, but was 20th. Now not in the top 20.

i agree with @fleatea, i wanna add him to my wishlist. the rat is cute and i feel bad for him.

I laughed when I saw the banana in 4th place. Did not expect that lmao.

Also didn't know that the UR cat was so popular...I think it's the only pet on this list that I own.

There's a lot of "Warrior Cats" on this list, which I think makes sense since a lot of newer users tend to value those pets, even if they're not the rarest pets on CS. That's also probably why people wishlist them - because they seem more achievable.

If this list includes every CS account that currently exists, I'm assuming that a lot of these numbers are from older/abandoned accounts. From what I remember, the banana + other fruit were considered valuable in the early days before plummeting in demand?

EDIT: Jk I checked the older editions of this thread and did not see the banana in the earliest editions. I have no idea why the banana is there then 😭

I heard that a strategy for the pound is to wishlist every rare and above pet in the archive. If that is happening with lots of active users could that skew the results towards what we are seeing?
