I'm not certain if nickjr is discussing the same issues, but there is VERY strong evidence that Equimagine copied some of her horses directly from photographs.
Wait what? I only said that equimagine was retired and that last time I checked we couldn't use her linearts since she's retired xD;
And the evidence pointed only to the first set of linearts (plus a unicorn); people were asking what was wrong with the second set (which was made in response to the evidence against the first set)
That's why I said I wasn't sure if you were discussing the same thing as I was thinking.
Whoops, my apologies; I skipped over that part -hides-
Was your pet adopted December 18, any year, or December 24, 2011? It is most likely an older pet! CLICK ME to identify your pet!
Spread the word to end the word, because discrimination based on perceived or actual IQ/"intelligence" is no better than discrimination based on race, gender, etc.
Context, consistency, and clear antecedents are golden.

I am really hoping the rainbow maned horse gets put in the new lines, I'd value it much higher then, simply because the lines would be 100% true.
In all honesty guys we should be looking at this in a manner that asks: "What's good for CS as a site?" not "What would make ME happy?"

Exactly. I feel as if the arguments against the change, no offense meant to anyone who argues against it, are more self-centered, describing their love for the look and how much they'd miss the lineart, etc. I haven't seen much, if anything, argument-wise that focuses on the good of the CS website as a WHOLE.

I was asking about the
Second set of lines she made, because I thought they were fine, but another user said they had "issues" too (I've assumed they meant tracing etc.) and I asked for proof of that.

Well-stated.
Keep in mind as well that Equimagine herself admitted there were some issues with the lineart. I do not think it was intentional, I do not want to start a witch-hunt against her. She has settled that with Tess to where both of them are satisfied. But the fact remains that some dubious lineart is still in use. I think things would be much better for everyone if we switched to lineart we know to be "kosher".

And anyways, no one gave a crap about the old lineart before this new idea was preposed. And all of a sudden equid's lineart horses are everyone's favorite.
