Out of curiosity, does anyone have a link to show that equimagine copied the linearts? references she used in comparison maybe? Im just now hearing of this as well...

on the subject of the option to switch between the horse linearts, would it just be the original equimagine linearts and then yulynh's? or would you convert all of yulynh's designs to equi's lines and vice versa? it seems like a major load of work with all the art, and then the coding as well. if the option to switch between lines were put to a vote, i'd definitely have to say no. it seems very unrealistic. :I

Equi's lines are retired and will never be used again because of that.

The difficulty of accomplishing that would depend on how it's done.

Doing the same system of the rarity tag images where users can choose which one to view would be a lot more difficult than a individual checkbox switch system and take a lot more coding work(to my knowledge - again, I'm not an expert) and I'm pretty sure that it would be much easier coding than many of the things we already have on pet images(items, layering, etc).
I think it's more just a matter of whether or not they're willing to do that, and how long it would take. It can be done, and certainly isn't impossible, but they might just not have time to work on that with everything else that has to be done to manage the site, and of course they have their lives outside CS and the time whatever they're contending with IRL to consider as well.
