booThe Change LogboobooHave you ever wondered how the site got to where it is today? Or have you ever gone on hiatus only to find things changed when you returned, and wondered what the details were?
This guide intends to record all updates, both major and minor, that have occurred over the site's history. The site undergoes all kinds of changes, ranging from minor technical patches to almost complete overhauls of the layout. While most of these changes are thought up and developed by staff, users can also post
suggestions for what they want to see in the game. Good suggestions are sometimes implemented, and these also count as updates.

2015 // 2016 // 2017 // 2018 // 2019 // 2020The log starts in 2009, since the site was still under heavy development in 2008. In 2008 most of the changes were adding functionality that we'd now consider foundational to the site, such as renaming pets.

We need your help! The site is now over a decade old, which is a long time! Over the years, it has undergone countless of changes, both major and minor. While most of the big changes are posted in the
Announcements forum or the
Site News, the smaller ones frequently are not.
To find these small updates, we need your help. You can help by searching the forums, or just posting any update posts you come across.
Information about small updates can usually be found either in the
Suggestions Forum or in the
Help Forum. If the update is in response to a user suggestion, a mod or admin will usually post on the relevant topic with a little note that it has been implemented (
example). If the update is in response to a bug or error reported in the Help Forum, Nick will usually post in the topic with a note that it has been fixed (
example).
The most effective way to find information about small updates is to use the search function. Go to "search" in the top-right corner of the site.

Type in the name of an admin or mod in the box "Search for author:" and select the forum you want to search within. This will bring up all of the posts by this person within this forum.

Read through the search results until you find one that states there has been an update or a new feature has been added.

Congratulations, you've found an update! Copy-paste the link of the post and post here, preferably with the date the update was posted and a short sentence on what was changed or added.
