welcome to the goobies artist search!
if you are interested in practicing on our lines, creating entries in the hope of becoming a goobies artist, or just imagining up MYOs before making them real... this is the place to be!

we are looking for unique styles and effort more than experience.
we want to see inspired and dedicated artists, especially ones who can bring unique designs to the artist team.
you only need to create one entry to be considered for the artist team, although creating more will give us a better idea of your skills!

we are also hiring off-oekaki artists!
you can find the off-oekaki files here or on discord!
off-oekaki entries should be posted right on this thread, do not create covers for them!

• read the main thread, especially the rules and trait list.
  
• staff members are required to be in the goobies discord, as this is where we communicate and notify users of new adopts!
  
• all designs created here must be original and entirely your own work.
• do not remove the signature or fake tag.
• do not create a cover for your entries.
• you may create as many entries as you like.
• you may use any and as many traits you like.
• you may make a custom lined goob.
• artist entries may not be sold.
• artist entries may be claimed and used for myos.

• having trouble with oekaki? check out the oekaki guide!
• having trouble shading goo? check out this tutorial!
• having trouble with picking colors? try searching for "color palettes" or "color palette generator"!
• laking inspiration? search up "moodboards" for ideas!
• make an entry without line edits to show off raw design ability!
• make an entry with line edits, so we can see how your style works with goobies' lineart!
• use whatever colors and design elements come naturally to you. every artist has their own tastes and design style, and we want to see yours!
• be willing to learn! we are a team that want to watch you learn and grow as an artist.
• have a passion for goobies! we want staff members to be beacons of the community, ones who genuinely enjoy the world of goobies!
