Artist Entry #1

Main page

_________________________________________________________

Artist: Audaxity

Name: Dream Dracone
Pronouns: Any/all
Rarity: Common (Spine[C])
_________________________________________________________

Preference on artist position (guest or permanent)?: I can do either!
Do you have experience as an artist for a closed species?: Sort of? I participate in another community where users make their own bases/designs and give away/trade/adopt them out, but it's 3D based and much more decentralized than a typical adoptable species, if that makes any sense?
What is your interest in Aqueous Draconas in particular?: Partially that I just love dragons and love this take on them, but honestly I've gotten pretty attached to these fellas since I filled in that first lily pad when V2 opened! I like how laid-back it seems with this species, no excessively complicated rules, no drama, no real money involved, just fun times with cool dragons!
Have any suggestions for the species and how it could improve?: I saw one species that like had a space for fanart/writing/other creative endeavors involving the species, and participating earned you points or something? I don't recall if the points went toward items or customs or what have you, but I thought a space like that was a fun idea that encouraged people to create and engage with their adopts.

Is this entry open for claiming?: yep!

Funky matrix dragon thing? The color shift has some interesting effects if you wiggle it around or zoom in and out. Not sure it quite turned out how I envisioned, but I thought I'd put it out there anyway! Also disregard the time spent on it, I accidentally left it open overnight without saving which added... a lot of extra hours that aren't accurate, oops!

Whoooa! Was not expecting to hop on and see these two, awesome artist entries like this! Soooo cool! And that is so cool that you do 3d adoptable things! Wow!
I'm so glad you've been enjoying ADs ^^ Hoping to get some fan art of the species done soon with ideas for saddles and how one might ride them. ^^
Ooooo, that's a really cool idea! Maybe we could have a credit system where when you post on a fan page you get some of the credits and then if you post art or writing or something you get quite a bit more credit which can buy you MYOs, customs, or other items from that page, or even herbs from the mossy nests. ^^

Oh, also, this design is excellent, nothing I'd do differently and I love the color-shift aspect. That's really unique! Also, is that a code along their spine..? Soooo neat :3

Definitely going to be pming you soon, just gotta post on your other design real quick. ^^

Edit: Also, time is no issue x3 I am soooo slow with my art anyways. As long as the designs are pretty and the rules are followed, and as long as you're having fun, that's all that matters to me. ^^

Ohh the idea of saddles and such for them sounds fun, I'd love to see that! And I think that's p much how it worked on the other species that did it; it seems like such a fun way to reward participation!

In hindsight, I do wish I'd make it code for "dracone" or something like that, but I actually just arranged the ones and zeroes however I thought looked nice and didn't think of something like that till afterward, sadly! Thank you so much for the quick responses; I really look forward to making more designs from here!!
