Applewood Thicket
The Applewood Thicket is a great place for young, or inexperienced Pokemon to train and explore. While it is fairly large, its landscape and residents are very tame and welcoming. Sunlight pours through the treetops by day, and the moon is sometimes visible in most places by night. As the name suggests, many trees here grow apples. And for some reason, which scientists still have yet to explain, the bark of the tree smells like apples. Depending on who you are, the scent could be pleasing or atrocious. Apples arent the only thing that grows here, in fact, many fruits do, possibly more than anywhere else on the island. The right fork of the Harmony Channel runs through the forest, and is a great source of water.

Ethereal Lake
The Ethereal Lake is the largest lake on Amity Island. Despite its size, it's also one of the calmest. The Ethereal Lake comes off the Harmony Channel. The Ethereal Lake is very easy to disturb and pollute, and because of that, they have a strict no littering rule when you decide to spend a day there. But it's a great place to hang out with your family and friends, whether you're swimming, basking in the sun, or whatever.

Butternut Grove
The Butternut Grove is a small forest near the Everlasting River. Much like the Applewood Thicket, most things there are either passive or friendly. Although, not very many travelers go there unless they're looking to pick nuts off the trees. While lots of nuts grow here, the most famous of them is the Butternut, hence the name of the forest. The Butternut in this case is not a squash, but actually a small nut with a protective shell on the outside, which is Butternut colored, and a creamy filling in the inside like that of butter. The filling is also creamy in color.

Everlasting River
The Everlasting River is a small river that has two forks; the left fork flows towards the ocean, and the right fork pours into the Mirror Basin. People say it was called the Everlasting River because scientists figured out that, very, very long ago, before the island had settlers, that it went through many disasters, and the Everlasting River was still pure, almost unaffected even. Scientists have yet to figure out why it was preserved so well when the first settlers came, though.

Mirror Basin
The Mirror Basin is a very small lake. The Shimmering Lagoon and the Mirror Basin practically tie in their small sizes. The lake is very reflective, especially in the middle of the day. In fact, people who manage the lake suggest you don't stare st your lovely -or not so lovely- reflection for too long, as you might hurt your eyes. Someone who can't see very well might mistake the lake for the sky...for whatever reason.
