Thank you so much. I just joined today and a kind user linked me to this thread to get an understanding of what ninja trading is. I'm unsure what exactly December 18th is all about. I understand old rares get re-released but is it just that day and only once per year it is it every so often?

It is indeed once per year old rare+ pets are re-leased. On 12/18 only c:

Just saw this since it was just posted on. I want to note since I see the "What pet is this?" thread linked that during December 18th itself that the day has it's own "What pet is this?" thread. (Normal one gets locked for a few days to prevent spam.) Last years thread as example. So make sure to use the appropriate thread. (Usual thread is okay for December 18th pets from other years or once the December 18th thread has been locked.)

Thank you for making this for new players, because this still happens even before and after dec 18th.
I myself have received a few trades from older players that have been blatantly unfair and they'll have the most innocent message or one not at all.
Of course I've done my fair share of Studying forums like Horrors guide and fair trade forums, so I find it easier to tell when a trades unfair, But I know there are still issues with this against new Players.
So my suggestion with high value trades like Lists and store pets is to have a separate tab open with horrors guide just make sure your valuable pets are getting the trades they deserve. But also to ask the "Is this a Fair trade" forum no matter how long it takes don't accept or decline a trade until your absolutely sure it's a good or bad one!
