Long ago, there was a perfect balance, giving power the the world. This mystic orb was said to be the most powerful thing to ever exist on the planet. This mystic power had guardians, fire, earth, water, and air. Each of these element gave the guards a special power that made them beyond imagination, but only the swift, strong, and quick witted could qualify, so what beasts were chosen? Wolves. Cold, calculating, but only the purest of heart were blessed with the gift, but they were also cursed. Power hungry wolves sought to take the orb, enabling them to become the strongest being on Earth. The guardians fought bravely for years, passing their powers down to the chosen ones, until one fateful day, a group of dark wolves sought for the orb. As the guardians focused on driving away the group, one lone wolf stole the orb, the power overtook him until his body could not withstand the power, and he fell dead, the orb falling from his jaw, shattering. The guardians fell to, and the chain was broken...

It was 100 years since that fateful time, and, four young wolves were born. One white, one brown, one light gray, and one red. These four had peculiar eye colors, the type that were not particularly common among wolves, it stunned their parents as the gawked at the eye and coat colors. Finally, they have been reborn, but, if that is the case, then, where is the orb? Has it to been reborn? With darkness still seeking the orb and its guardians, no where is safe, and the four must destroy the evil and restore balance to the world.

DUDE that is an EPIC storyline!
It's very creative! A lot of stories follow the simple bad-guy good-guy role, but in there they actually have a REASON to be evil lol.
I have a story that also has an orb of exquisite powers, though it's not online, it's just an idea I've had floatin' around after playing ClubPenguin a lot 'cuz a lot of people said they had a "fire orb" or somewhatorother in the game.
