Volx....but on oekaki

Postby cryptpuppy » Wed Jan 17, 2024 5:08 pm

I HATE how pixelated oekaki's brush looks if someone can tell me what settings to make a nice smooth brush then i'll finish this but for now I am getting viscerally angry at this while I draw

I use pencil instead of pen and my smoothing is always turned up to 70 or more.

Also don't know if you have this issue, but while I am in oekaki drawing my lines are pixelated, but when I post the art the lines are magically smooth. Is that what you are noticing? Because it is annoying as heck while drawing.

For more random oekaki tips I learned them from this guide

It 100% is, not to mention my drawing tablet is a large screen so it pixelates it a little more lol

It's because of the only available canvas sizes, plus I have no idea what DPI oekaki is on

Bigger canvas = smoother lines and art, with the oekaki you kinda just hope for the best and turn off pen pressure, there isn't really any setting to make any of it better, it's based on canvas size primarily and maybe DPI secondly
