Familiar: A female red hawk named Byrrus
Power: Able to see how much life a being has. Any being- plants or animals. The amount of life something has appears to him by the hue of their aura, which he can see, but only through his blind eye. If he closes his blind eye, he can't see the auras, and if he only has his blind eye open, the world appears to him as only faint auras and darkness. If their hue is a certain color, he can see that they are healthy and will live a long life at the rate they are going at the time, or that they are dying slowly, quickly, or are barely hanging on. It is a good early indicator that something is sick, and he finds himself quite useful for it. He cannot tell the future- he doesn't know how long something is going to live under the circumstances that there are many variables in the world, but he can give a rough estimate.
Personality: Quiet, calm, gentle, and distant. He doesn't like to make friends because of the fact he can see how much life they have and it makes him worry some day he will get so used to their hue that he won't notice a slight change in it and not be able to warn them that they are getting sick or something. He has suffered loss before. The only exception is Byrrus, but he can't see her aura. He doesn't talk much and isn't very social.
