each of you may own one lynx (as of now). I WILL be raising the limit later, but since the species is new I don't want to overpopulate it.
I may be taking more artists after the adopts open up! So don't ask unless I've already sent you a PM!
stuff you should remember while designing your lynx:
- only leaders have that special mark you see on Tikeriaa's forehead! please do not replicate it.
-I'd like one of the artists to own the other leader lynx of the Solar Tribe. Artists, if you are interested please pm me~ I don't have any favoritism toward you guys so I want you to tell me if you'd like that responsibility. (it means you must be active in the future roleplay and in all things relating to the lynxes) Kiley took that one, guys. :3
- their markings are almost always symmetrical!
- they always, always, always have natural bases. markings can be unnatural.
- solar tribe colors tend to lean toward golds and browns, while lunar tribe colors are usually grays or black.
- there is a counterpart of the Tribes that is made up of lynxes of both the solar and lunar tribes. they live apart from others of their kind. they're called the Dual, and learn to make armor in the forges outside Tribe territory. your lynx can also be a Dual, if you wish.
- if any of you are not sure what their familiars are-
the familiar is nearly ALWAYS the opposite gender from the lynx! it's very rare for it to be the same gender.
- and yeah, about powers- they are NOT elements. they are specialized. meaning if you can cause hurricanes, it does NOT mean you have an air element! powers can range from major to minor. (so, a minor power would be, like, never tripping when you run. or something. xD) nearly every lynx has a power of some sort. a lynx born with no power is very, very rare, and often results when the lynx's familiar is the same gender as its own. (this also is true for deformities or disabilities!)
- names must be awesome fancy names! if you need name ideas, Google constellations or names of moons. really, it works. :3
- there are two types of lynxes, bobbed-tailed lynxes and long-tailed lynxes. neither is inferior to the other.
